Yes! It's always such a disappointment when a sushi restaurant doesn't have a liquor license. Sushi is great on its own but having it without sake is like having hot wings without beer, or pancakes without OJ.

P.S. Sushi On Bloor = teh suck. Although Nada is talking about Big Sushi, which happens to be on Bloor St, and not Sushi On Bloor. Anyway, Echo, Maki, and Ichiban are the good ones for all you can eat.

Edit: Also New Gen if you're already around Bloor. Don't think they do all you can eat but they have good specials.

Sushi on Bloor was shut down due to pests by the health department (it is now open).

I did, it was good value for the money, but not up to the quality standards of others places.

I'm not sure, but I think Echo MIGHT have closed down. I went by a month ago, during the day and it was closed. I have not called to find out, but it would be very sad if closed. I would feel a bit responsible with the amount of sashimi I ate when I went there. I know they lost money on my friends and I.
