I really miss it too.

TOTA became too big too quickly for me. Although I love meeting new people I just found that the sense of community became lost. I don't post much here anymore, perhaps I should though.

Some of you asked what happened to PLUR. It still exists, just not as much around here. Lots of people seem to be jaded, and this isn't just in the party scene. I think it's also sign of the times. Why is popularity so important to so many people? And why do these people cut others down to make themselves feel better? The 'rave' scene used to be a place where people could feel safe being themselves. Then it grew too big, changed into a more club scene, and the sense of community changed. Recently I've found more joy from spending time with good people rocking it out to talented locals than waitng for a big rockstar headliner. For those of you who seek PLUR, lead by example and you all get a big hug from me. For those of you who choose to leave PLUR behind, I suggest you start thinking about karma. PLUR isn't about plastic beads or candy kids, PLUR is about a set of values. In the past few months I've lost my cellphone 3 times, and had it returned to me from people I didn't know each time. Last night I lost my wallet at the docks. By the time I realized this, my wallet was already at the front booth. I want to thanks whoever it was that returned my wallet.

PLUR still exists for those who believe in it. And please, treat others as you would like to be treated.

You can only discuss the topics that the board was meant to talk about so many times. Then it just becomes a big OT(out there/off topic) kind of place to chill with the some relavent material from time to time. TA still has a good amount of relavent material though. Ive been part of many message boards and its happend to all of them over the last 5 or so years. It just becomes a big hang out with many old/familiar members and newbs who have no idea whats going on You have some of the old shit disturbers and some new. TA really isnt that bad for that though. Compared to other boards I frequent this place is very tame. Though its one thing to make fun of people on here and have some fun, but taking it beyond that and really making it personal (and doing so in real life) is pretty lame! It really is.
If you have a disagreement in real life, just keep it there. If its some stupidness from the board...its just that, stupidness and fun.
But I do agree that this place has become more clique-ish as of late even though Im still pretty new here.
I do find it sad that I can usually tell when some people are whispering/talking bad about people when we have big get togethers.

Just have fun on here and enjoy the music. If you have a personal thing with someone dont act 5 yrs old in person. Just "agree to disagree" so to speak. Not everyone can get along in this world.

although everyone Ive met has been kind in person...

TA, for me, is stricly to stay in touch with TOTAs
