All around great night....
Its around 6:30... I just got in... came home a little earlier cause the girlfriend wanted to leave, I usually stay till the end, Didnt wanna go but now at least I can get some rest for another busy Sunday for me..
Highlights of the night was when Jono around 3:40 asked me what time 1015 closes. I told him "uhm... 6-7".. he says "we'll id like to keep goin"... I replied with I dont think that will be a problem..
Something I wanted to add... is one thing I respect of TAJ is his honorable side of letting headliners go if they want. Also, to me it seems he always puts others before himself, which is something I highly respect, in a Dj.. or anyone.
Alot of people on saturday nights at 1015 feel the same way and often say to me that they had a great night because of it. I always tell them to tell TAJ. The success that 1015 is having on Saturday nights in part of the people, coming from all parts of California to witness some of the headliners he brings. Well, we did get a 4 hour set from Above & Beyond, and it was fantastic. I think we should all thank TAJ for this one.
All TA's were actually cool about not coming up and about into the booth too as me and DaveT sorta policed and did crowd control. No one crossed back and fourth behind Above & Beyond.. Everyone was highly respectful.. Some people came up to me and said they saw the post and asked me to help them get autographs.. I gladly helped out as I promised. Hope everyone got as least one. I know Lexxx did with all his vinyl records!!
I aired my Sean Tyas video for July last night too. hope you all got to see it.
By the way, Skwallie, thank you for giving me the poster. Its another one I can frame up here in the studio!
Much respect to AddictedSF's Thomas Phan too for takin care of Above & Beyond. Both Jono and Tony were in good spirits tonight, also bringin Koroma the burger king birthday hat.
Met some other TA's too, which I think Frank was introducing Limin_li to us all. I hope to see you at another event at 1015 bro.
Thomas, did that Dj Thaifoon come with you? I thought he was one of your friends.. I didnt see hime after Above & Beyond was finished.
Koroma played a bangin set in the beginning. I liked your transitions and track selection. Arriving their around 11:15, as the room started buildin up, so did his tracks... Kinda threw me off when I heard air for life...
Jono now knows who I am on the forums over at aboveandbeyond.nu. So I may have a post there on the night, including photos and stuff. Hope you guys who are active on the forum will say something on there, cause I know they probablyl will be lookin at it. Perhaps they may even mention us on TATW?
Kryo was in full effect as promised also. I got som excellent footage on both my little camera, and Rizo's cam. Ill try to edit some today and post it later..
Conclusion for me: Its not easy bein in the top 10 around the globe.... Must be a rush when you have that many people come out to see you. Above & Beyond rocked, Koroma and TAJ set I enjoyed.
Bangin night... great vibe.. energy and atmosphere of the club was choice....
Now that the video is done for Sean Tyas, I can go back to production. Im actually workin on a few tracks I do hope to air in July.. If I can complete one or two, ill post them here and ask opinions. BTW, those of you who I kinda told what my new job is.. lets keep things under wraps.. ok? However... if you know any one in paticular who may be interested.. pls fwd them my way I will gladly pay you for the referal.Sleep well everyone. ill post more later when I wake from the dead in the afternoon.

Here's a small review. I just got my computer back thanks to my cousin. I'm still installing new things on this thing.
This was on the great nights at 1015 once again. The biggest highlight of my night was when A&B (not sure which one) dropped Art of Trance - Madagascar (Ferry Corsten mix). I went absolutely MENTAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Stayed until about 330. Not sure what time they ended, but I was expecting more sing along anthems towards the end of their sets. However, this didn't disapoint me. I loved their set from start to finish.
Koroma, you played an awesome opening set. I enjoyed it a lot and a lot of my friends who are not TA's did also. Keep up the great work! Although, I was a bit shocked that you played Air For Life.

i liked a lot of your song selections Koroma, very energetic. I wish i came early enough to catch Air for life though, or you should have saved it for A&B for their set.

Hey Everyone,
I'm finally semi-recovered from the event on Saturday and the weekend of festivities in general. All I can say is WOW. That is the one of the Best times I've had in a long while. The whole weekend was just full of fun.
Started out Friday by checking out a new wine bar in North Beach, had a few glasses of wine, then went over to Tommy's Joynt for the TA Meet, had some food, had some beer and talked to everyone about the anticipation of the Above and Beyond event.
Went to my niece's birthday party in the East Bay on Saturday during the day so didn't get too much rest before the big event.
Well, what can I say? The event did not disappoint. I was a little afraid with all that buildup, the event would somehow not meet my expectations but damn, it definitely exceeded it and going into Saturday night, I don't know how the heck that happened cause my craziness level was already off the charts.
Anyhow, it was great to meet Limin Li, Franky, Liz, T Dizzle and others this weekend. I'm probably missing some people but hope to see everyone again soon.
I was also happy to see a lot of Old Friends there that I don't usually see at 1015 anymore. A lot of the "old" family that used to go showed up as well. People who used to "live" there just like me.
Can't wait to see everyone again!
When is Above and Beyond coming back? Let's get a quarterly residency going. Hint Hint Taj
WOW what a night of great music!! A&B tore it up all night. They played even better than they did at love fest. They started off kinda of slow which made me fall asleep a little, but then they picked up the pace. They played a number of tracks i really like:
Factoria - Revive (Static Blue Remix!!!)
Oliver Smith - Nimbus!!
A&B - Far From In Love (SF MIX!!!)
Many other A&B classics of course!!
Overall it was a great night and i really had a blast! I cant wait for them to come back so i can go ape shit again

Hey Taj....you know i always stay for your whole set but this saturday i wasnt feeling very well! i think its because A&B destroyed me!!!
