How did he differ from last year?

now jed wishes he'd gone... but just couldn't do it.. meh, bad timing

Review:

Well considering I left at 3.30 and only saw an hour and a half of PVD, the legend of EDM, I had the most rocking time EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! (with the exception of this white s*ut trying to take up the whole of the second level ramp!)

Anywayz, Mike callander left me sleepy, so went to see The Electro room and twas pretty funky. Then Strangis came on. Honestly, been a trance fan for over 10 years, he didn't do it for me. The Outsider by Tenisha was the only highlight from his set in my opinion. Poor guy though, fucking stupid CD player fucked up on him in the middle of mixing a tune, then cracked it at the audio guys, i mean, who wouldn't!...fkn bogans. Moving right along.

PVD came on, started off HARD, then stomping with every tuen after it, mandy Reid, Spastic etc etc. it was a new experience for me, though, from hearing his shows every day, wasn't a HUGE difference. Loved the setup he had though, fkn mint! His mash-ups were awesome as well. Did he play K-System - Samba 69?......Pwohhhh, would have gone OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great night, pvd delivers as always! loved when he dropped spastik with roadkill and then into dubfire's remix of float away. lovvvvved it!

last hour of strangis was realllly sweet. but the lighting absolutely sucked monkeys balls... playing in the shadows O_o

interview room... everyone up until blinky sucked, then all was good+..

and pvd was better than i was expecting... crazy!

True True. Strangis was honestly putting me to sleepies. Mixing wasn't that great either.

Come on people's, I know most are Fkd, but come on witht he playlist..lOL

dude, i ran into you last night and you mentioned that i played a great set then you throw this on a forum... nice work man.

But thats your opinion, second of all Agent 86 cancelled his gig and i had to take his shift, which caught me off gaurd since i only brought the tracks i was going to play from 11:15 - 12:30 - so as a result some of the stuff i was going to play in the first hour i had to re program to a 2 and half hour warm up set and i was told to keep the bpm level alittle low, anyways thats somethem else.
3rdly - id be the first to admit if my mixing was dodgy, but i know for a fact my mixing was very smooth last night, maybe went out one or two tracks for like 2 bars then quickly corrected, maybe it was the bad sound system or maybe it was where u positioned yourself in the club.

anywys thanks heaps to guys that came to see me play, the reaction from 'heavens scent' and 'more then anything' will stick in my mind forever

Steve. I've never met you in my life. I was wearing a White Vandit Berlin Shirt, with White pants and dancing with my gf most of the night on the second level right on the edge. For that matter also, the only person other than my gf I talked to was my brother, and that was when I exited the club. I saw you coming down the third level stairs and you talked to some guy that stopped you. I'm assuming it was him Steve. Good try though!

On the note of mixing, I did see you correct most of the mixes, cos I paid very close attention to your orchestration, though the one or two you said slacked were probably the one's I was referring to. If that's the case with Agent 86, then be it as it may. I guess keeping thing's warmed up for Paul was what was wanted.

im sorry, i thought you where someone that i knew, didnt mean to make you like a backstaber. Although i do appreciate your opinions, would have been great to reply to a pm i sent you before you made that 2nd comment.

as for everything else i mentioned before, it still stands. When a dj has a few thousand ppl with hands in the air, one or two chin strokers opinions on somethen that is pretty much pety and in this case incorrect doesnt really matter.

maybe if we do meet in the future it will be alot more pleasent with a few drinks

Heaven scent went off!! was awesome seeing the crowd from the very top of the main stage, all down the levels, all hands in the air... nice.

Loved his setup! was great seeing him use his keyboard so much, adding a really personalised touch to so many tracks: good to see a DJ who doesn't just play the standard tunes.
