Street Racing is cool. The real scene goes on in places that are deserted at night, where the only peoples lives that are in danger are the st racers themselves, so fuckit.
Fuck the over 50 law, People who speed are usually better and more confident drivers. Pass a no 70 year old asian woman on a cellphone law and then you'll see accident rates go down.
They should do what they did in a city in Poland (I forget which one, maybe Warsaw) Anyways, because of the overwhelming amount of street racing that was going on regardless of any laws, they decided to just give the street racers a designated chunk of the city map to use. How sick is that? They could even make money of an idea like that. I'd go pay a few bucks to see sick races in an urban setting.

I'm against street racing on the streets during daytime and when there are people around. Proper (safe) street racing should occur in back rural area roads at 3-4am when NO ONE will be around, and you must have spot checks 1/4 mi down to make sure no ones coming as well, this way you're ensured a safe and clean race
Boy I miss those days, we'd convoy down to backroads of Cambridge at 3am, about 30 of us....racing against big slicked v8 mustangs in the dead of the night...priceless!!
The rush/adrenaline of street racing is unmatchable IMO, even on an enclosed track.
If done properly and safely, street racing is THE SHIT!
yeah, it's fun to race late night on a street and then drive through it normally during the daytime and remember the memories from the night before!
