From how I understand it, cover is $40 (instead of $20) and that includes: a free energy drink (red bull or whatever), access to the (now sectioned off) Metal Lounge as well as access to behind/inside the newly re-enforced booth. It also has it's own private VIP bar, and (this part I'm shady on) let's you use some kind of "runner" who can get you shit outside of the club (like Burger King was the example I was told) haha

It really cleans up/quiet downs that Metal Lounge area and makes the whole booth section in general MUCH safer. It's all very interesting anyways lol

That reminds me when I was at the Zone on NYD, when I was at the bar, I complained to my friend that the bar at CZ should have more selection. The bartender overheard me and asked me what I wanted outside of their selection. I told her that I was really craving a fruit smoothy, to which she gave me a dirty look and said, "I think that's a bit over the top!", hahaha.

I do agree though. A Booster Juice close to CZ would be key.

the only vip area should've been the booth. metal lounge is such a big area to cut off. I don't know where sit now. The back benches scare me. I'm not really welcome anywhere else

and I'm not gay.. soo there's nowhere else to go.. except upstairs, which is a no for sure. I don't feel like silver dollar is part of zone, despite the music being fed through.

I for one would not pay $40 for VIP @ zone... ok maybe just once, solely for the purpose of using the runner... also a very sketch idea. but atleast I would be able to say I used it... just once.

I would've been more than happy for cover to go up 25 for everyone and kept that area open

even if I do decide I'll for for vip.. most of my friends will not be in there because they didn't have the money or want to pay for it

There's been VIP at zone before...you had to know either a DJ or someone else, and you could get a stamp (along with no cover) that would allow you to go back in the metal lounge and up into the booth. As far as I know (and what I remember) that area was always VIP. There was only a short time that I recall anyone could go back there without a stamp or bracelet.

edit: And there was always the option to buy a VIP bracelet...but I don't know if it was always available to everyone.

edit2: They've also done the open 24 hours thing before too. 6am Sunday to 6am Monday.

Even I knew that and I haven't gone to the Zone as much as a lot of you people. I knew b/c good 'ol Tan took there once haha
