haha, I actually think that first song rocks! But I agree, it might not be for everyone. I'm not really feeling the song that starts around 5:30 minutes though.

I'm honestly really thankful that James Holden exists. There really hasn't been another artists that created music that touches me as much as Holden's.

Holden and Luke Abbott are in Canada early June for Mutek... so Incognito night with them around that time?! PLEASE!

For the love of God, please bring James Holden back to Incognito... and put the cherry on top with Luke Abbott.

You have to go to Mutek! BC twitter said no west coast dates for early June for Holden and assuming Abbott as well since he likely doesnt have a US work visa

Am I the only person who isn't into Kate wax? Her music is not a good representation of border community at all.

Posted by Nerologic on Dec-13-2011 01:08:

I'd drive up to LA from SD for Holden again.

People living on nostalgia. He's done so little over the years. Either that or he's so uber underground nothing he's done is known.

Posted by Miss Julia on Dec-13-2011 05:41:

He's done a lot. You're just into more commercial stuff.

Posted by DaveT on Dec-13-2011 06:02:

like?

And what makes you think I'm more "commercial"

seriously?

Yeah, I might like some tracks that are popular in the scene, but I don't listen to radio shows, mixes, etc unless I hear about it word-of-mouth and thats rare. Otherwise, I find what i like on my own and have for years now. Some of what I like is just popular, most of it are tracks that I don't think are well known. It's also why I'm surprise how good or bad (usually bad) so many new DJs that are blwoing up are these days , because I go into them not hearing any mixes from them before like I'd used to -- I don't know what to expect. Tell me, where is this commercialism in this?

Posted by DaveT on Dec-13-2011 06:03:

and yes, I'm butthurt bwahaha.

All in good fun in th eend.
