I think it's stupid. Komisarek over Green? Kovalev, Tanguay, and Koivu with around double the votes of Semin? Five times that of Crosby?
That's just stupid.

so we all agree it is stupid...lets let go of this retarded subject and stick to things that mean something. If we could only gather all these idiots who vote for all habs to vote against jean charest.
cool site:

Thanks for the link, really cool site. Montreal will beat Boston tonight, even more if they play like they played against ottawa.
There's a script out that can continually punch in votes for the All-star voting. Lol. I got a link from another site, I think it's originally off the HABS forums.
HIGHLARIOUS
I don't know if this was referenced in that Facebook thing, I went to the FB and couldn't find this in the messages.
The website is really badly done considering you're allowed to vote EVERY MINUTE. They should have made each account allowed to vote once per day or something more realistic.
I agree having someone like Komisarek rather than another star D doesn't make sense, but I mean the other stars WILL be added to the roster anyways. It's not like Semin, Malkin, Ovech and Crosby WON'T be there. The starting lineup means nothing anyways. You start the game, big fucking deal.
Finally, just the fact that the All-Star game is in MTL this year doesn't make the game any better than it's been in past years. It's probably one of the worst displays of the game we have, no-one tries, there's no hitting, no defence, no intensity, nothing. I don't think I've watched the all-star game since it was last in MTL in 1993. 16-6 for the Wales Conference over Campbell I think; Mike Gartner 4 goals for the MVP.

keep voting for these heartless bastards.
horrible
absolutely horrible
no offense
shit defense
this isnt an error on prices fault... its purely the offenses/defenses fault
today, i was embarrassed by the lack of effort, heart and leadership of this team.
on top of it, Lucic made Komi look like his bitch.

truly fucking brutal... ouch can't imagine the pain all the habs fans had to endure in boston tonight hehhehe

| Originally posted by Bertuzz Lucic fucking owned Komi tonight, no questions asked. Complete destruction. I'm glad Komi went down so that it would end before he got hurt! Queue everyone to jump OFF the bandwagon. 1 game on (ottawa), 1 game off (tonight). We are such fickle fans. |

| Originally posted by Spin Laden ^^ very good, thorough post. Keys to me are goaltending, a committment to team defence (ie forwards playing both ends), and players who won't wilt offensively when going gets tough (and goals are hard to come by). Some Habs players became perimeter players (Plekanic?) against Boston and Philly. This can happen to even the most talented teams during the typically physical, tight-checking playoffs (see Ottawa, San Jose, Pittsburgh until 07-08, even Detroit from 2003-2007). Which is why some critics say the Habs may be lacking one or two players that can thrive under those conditions offensively. Having a Georges Laraque certainly allows those players to play "bigger". In any case, you can expect Montreal to beat most teams rather easily during the regular season. This team is stacked offensively. |
San Jose is sick. 40+ sog in 9 games this season.... yesterday they were at their 1SOG per minute pace before they slowed down in the second period up 5-0 already....
Sick.
BTW I know 1SOG/min = 60 sog, I was referring to the pace they were at vs Nashville, even though they only finished with 57sog.
I think after 1.5 periods vs Calgary they had 29 sog.
what lack of heart.
i am considering selling tickets to saturday's game.
i mean i want to go but:
1.they always fucking lose when they retire a number.
2.if i see them fucking play like pre madonna "i can't take a shot on goal i have to make the highlight reel and not skate" assholes i think i will have an aneurysm.
3.people are paying ridiculous amounts of money for these tickets that it is hard to resist.
fuck fuck fucking fuck.

No, they will make the playoffs. They are 5 games above 500 and still have so much talent that even when they don't play great they can win, let's not go crazy here. The problem with them is if they keep having no heart they will be gone in the first round.
I would love to say Gainey has to do something, but heart is not something that you can trade for. Someone needs to fucking step up and light a fire under all of them. Carbo can only throw fits so much, one of their own needs to get mad when they lose and step up.

They won't win the Cup for sure... team is too soft.
off to kanata in a few.
if they don't play well they won't make it back to montreal
ruutu better get hurt.
have fun in Wankersville. Sens *should* be easy prey, Fisher and Neil are out and this team is playing worse than the Habs.
the most interesting part about ottawa is leaving.
