I can think of numerous occasions when he's had live performances at his shows.

Posted by element-y on Mar-17-2010 22:30:

well Ive seen him live at Ultra and at club events bring live vocals here and there. I know Tiesto, Guetta, and others in the top 10 bring live acts to their WMC show. Havent seen PVD at space yet so seems like that would be the place to do it but guess he never does during his night.

at space?

i was there wmc 03, 04, 05 and 09 and there werent any live performers with pvd. also the 08 set was recorded and i dont think there was anything live going on there either. in addition to those wmc sets i was at, aug 05, nov 05, june 08, and nov 09 all saw no live performers with pvd. the nov 03 set was also recorded and unless you count buster screaming "THIS TRACK IS GERMAN!" as a live performance there were also none there.

so what are you talking about?

yea he has done it at other shows. but never at space. i thought thats what you were asking about.

Posted by element-y on Mar-17-2010 23:21:

yea asked about space.

Posted by av1 on Mar-17-2010 23:21:

Seen him every time since he first came to Space in 2000 & PVD has never had a live vocalist perform with him there. And let's keep it that way please .....

Posted by Charlie Brown on Mar-18-2010 00:00:

Well he never specified space, neither did you.

'Does he ever bring live vocals to his events' The answer would be yes.

'Does he ever bring live vocals to Space' Not to my knowledge.

That's what I'm talking about Pat, sorry for the confusion, I know you'd have hated to be wrong having seen PVD more times than anyone.

Posted by element-y on Mar-18-2010 00:07:

yea for some reason to this event typed to his event - sorry for the confusion.

He does bring his midi keyboard though right?

Think you're reading too much into it. I wasn't trying to flame you, just clearing up the confusion.

So PvD is hyping up a " PvD's VONYC Sessions 186 - The Miami Edition Part 1 - with Sander van Doorn, Giuseppe Ottaviani and Filo & Peri."

Anyone have this recorded? Or has it even aired yet. Could be ahead of myself here.

Posted by element-y on Mar-19-2010 02:38:

I think his show aired already and should be up soon. Part 1 is odd though cause part 2 will be next thursday - already WMC.

Heads up!! This show will be broadcasted by B@TV per email received...sweet!

Posted by element-y on Mar-19-2010 22:08:

Nice. B@tv has some sick recordings. And the use of four cameras is nice with one of them being portable if not more

lol I just find it funny how far Space goes to publicize events! This is why this event will be a SARDINE fest.

I'll be next door @ Nocturnal lol.

Posted by element-y on Mar-20-2010 01:10:

I really hope nocturnal does amazingly well. Going to Space friday because of the people I am with who have never been and first wmc for them, but would easily pick nocturnal and not having to deal with space BS to get in and the sardine fest inside.

I mean honestly I would have gone to this had that Noc event not gotten announced. Maybe there was a glimmer of hope that SvD will blow me away again like he did WMC 2007 @ the Fifth and I really was going to this but then that Noc event got announced and I figured I'd catch a bunch of DJ's I've never seen vs ones who I am not too sure about + the packed club factor isn't appealing either. It's a big possibility that Noc will be empty or w/e but I am def going to take those chances...Markus alone can bring #'s at least.

Honestly I do hope Space is nuts & everyone has a blast, hopefully it's not disgustingly packed either!!

Posted by Kevntampa on Mar-20-2010 02:50:

With all the new pub he needs to really drive it home...For An Angel 6 times each set! I will be there Friday and I hope for a delivery, PVD at times can be amazing for hours on end and then sometimes it's a miss. Hoping for no miss.
