me thinks it's still in the pre-production stages. the producers on here are makin' their trackz diligently while infin and some others are tryin' their best to calculate the financial stuff. hehe. still pretty chaotic. but hey, that's how it is with pre-production.

thats what w are workin on now... heheh theres a lot to look up here, im just findin me a catalogue.. gotta find out studio rent costs and hiring stuff (cutter) cost etc, then we gotta figure out some way of doing this...

the UK producers are just gonna ave to come to the studio and do shit, but i think to give the over-sea's producers a lil chance on gettin in until they have their own country's side of things woked out
they will just have to send he track to be re-made on hardware or whatever

back to the using reason argument... the whole napster thing is over copyright yeah? can u imagine how quick this label that we make will be flushed down the pan if we did get found out using copied versions?? and also, althugh its the best music software there is by far... software can never compare to hardware there is faaaaaar less limitations ith hardware

As I said I don't mind going to London to record my material or help out, or forking out a few quid here and there to pay for things, also I've made two tracks now the only thing I've gotta do is touch them up a bit, one of the tracks is a Hard Trance one but the problem is drums sound more like something from a Gabba Techno rave, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. k cheers and laters

as for reason, its simply the best music making program there is to be had... go in the DJ zone theres a link to download it somewhere... but beware, its fuckin massive

reason is a drumcomputer, like fruity loops, a mixer, a synsth., a sampler, loopplayer, and has some effects, echo, filters!!!!

Finally, I got here...

After ages of reading, and listening to the great untitled 'Sample' tune, I finally reached the end.

But this is only the beginning!!!

This is a really BIG idea but with a bit of cooperation from everyone here there is no reason why it shouldn't work...

I also have made some of my own tracks but coz I do not have an intenet connection from home I cannot post my tunes on the net.

I really want to be part of this project in some way and I'm just so annoyed that I've only read this thread at such a late stage. So please, use me or abuse me. It's up to you.

my situation now is that ive got a bunch of material on my synth.. Phat 4/4 loops.. original ones..
They need to be sequenced and produced properly, ive been learning how to do it at the school im going to right now. Soon im going to get a nice soundcard and put all of my tracks into the computer..
Then i'll work them through cubase as audio files. (or maybe if i like that CRAKA copy of Reason, i'll use that)

They sound pretty good if i play it live out of the synth, .. and i could tease you guys with a few demos..but i want to perfect a choon first

all in good time.

oh, and thanks for the overview of reason.. i'll check it out.
