Well since the vast majority of the mainstream media is liberal, I thought it was just assumed what I meant by "media"... and I did say "other than Fox". I should have been more specific about traditional media vs. alternative media though, because at least in that arena there is probably an equal amount of both sides if not the whole spectrum.

I wasn't confusing the two... the anti war Left was anti-war on all fronts- Afghan., Iraq, whatever. And my main point was that Obama raged against ALL of it from every angle from his days as a Senator through his prez. campaign. And now he sings a different tune altogether, but is rarely called out on it by the mainstream media.

I'm not sure if this is a generality or aimed towards me. In my case, believe me this does not apply. My disgust for the GOP has been pretty high for a while now. If you're speaking generally, I don't see how you can make that statement with any sort of legitimate proof. There is probably a fair share on both sides... don't tell me there aren't mass quantities of people that don't just pull the lever with the "D" next to the name, understanding very little (if at all) about who and what they're voting for.

Just announcing a no fly zone is pointless if you cant enforce it. And the allied nations are enforcing it. FFS the fucking french were the first ones in!

Wasn't it a no-fly zone and cease fire? Pretty sure Gaddafi already violated that seeing as he's already killed thousands.

Wasnt it that they came to him saying "how about a cease fire....just you know stop firing on your people" and he basically told them to fuck off?

Iran does the same thing PLUS they taunt the US by kidnapping our soldiers and US citizens. The only reason they dont get attacked is because they would block the strait of harmus, thus blocking oil from the world.

You're an idiot. This is happening because the Libyan people practically begged the UN to support a no-fly zone to prevent the further slaughtering of their people. Gaddafi has promised to show them "no mercy."

There is no foundation to support any action against Iran. People aren't rebelling against a dictator, and they're not being responded to with force. This has absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with oil. Attacking Iran would be like attacking Iraq. There's no support for it, and frankly the majority of the Iranian people don't want it.

The situation in Libya is much like the recent situation in Egypt. The people rose up against a dictator, and in this case were met with force, unlike in Egypt. That hasn't happened in Iran.

not sure if this was posted but as per khaddafi an hour ago, the national armory is open to all civilians!

so basically everyone is free to grab guns and defend their country....

If you can not see that violent oppression and genocide on a people is a travesty, then you are an idiot.

At least Qatar and the UAE is joining in the fight now. They are supplying some fighter jets.

Next stop for Gaddafi is The Hague or a nice wooden box. I just hope we don't find him hiding in a tiny space below ground like Saddam.
