Zimmerman's height is reportedly 5′ 7″ (1.70 m); and his weight is recorded as being 185 lb (84 kg) on his Seminole County Sheriff's Office Inmate Booking Information dated April 11, 2012, the date of his arrest. Zimmerman's height is shown as 5′8″ (1.73 m); and his weight at 200 lb (91 kg) on the Sanford Police Department Offense Report for February 26, 2012, the night of the shooting.

Apparently he shrunk 1 inch and lost 15 lbs in less than 2 months.

His weight loss is probably stress related. Don't think for a second that he hasnt been stressed out since the incident.

Posted by srussell0018 on Jul-20-2013 18:06:

He gained like 100 lbs before the trial...

Also, I'm just pointing out that DJRANN is flat out lying about Zimmerman's height. He's just spurting out lies as "fact" in the hope that it will somehow sway people in the direction of his already tenuous argument.

But are you telling me that if some guy 10 years older than you is curb crawling you (as zimmerman admitted) you're not going to look in their direction?

I would want to know who is following me in a car at night when I'm walking in my neighbourhood.

@Lang - Schwarzenegger has been in the public eye for 40 years and of course, being an action star his physique is of consequence for his image.

In this case however, the need to bullshit about Trayvon being Blackzilla and Zimmerman being this rotund midget served a purpose to get scared white people (like Srussell) on his side.

So again, just so everyone knows:

Martin 5'11" and 158lbs (official and exact coroner measurements)

Zimmerman 5'9" and 200lbs (height actually measured during mugshot, weight approximated - Sanford Police Dept on night of attack)

If anything that puts Trayvon underweight and in terms of size you'd give the fight to Zimmerman, especially being 10 years older and stocky. I think that's exactly what was going through Zimmerman's mind - I can take this punk, until he got whooped by Trayvon and pulled the gun.

Never been proven? You kidding me?

Good lord man, even the wiki has this right:

Lol, I think you're looking in the mirror. You've had so much shit in this thread wrong it would be funny if you weren't so scared.

From believing and telling us that Trayvon is 6'2"

He was only 5'11", two inches taller than Zimmerman

Here's the coroners report just to embarrass you: (page two: 71 inches).

http://media.cmgdigital.com/shared/...tin.autopsy.pdf

To telling us that 911 aren't part of "law enforcement" when the actual title of the person that took the call was Police Communications Officer and he actually works at the Seminole County Sherrifs office. Sean Noffke. google it.

You really should stop commenting on this case as you don't have a fucking clue.

The problems, and IMO, complete failure of the case (or should I say prosecution) are two things:

1, Had Zimmerman stayed in the car, as directly and specifically instructed by the police, there would never have been a physical altercation and Martin would be alive.

2, Had Zimmerman, not brought his gun with him, or even out of the car, Martin would be alive.

Zimmerman, by his own admission, stated that Martin was not engaged in a crime of any sort so despite all the other bullshit everyone has talked about ad nauseum which we'll never know for sure, these two are immovable, cast iron facts, and I cannot fathom how Manslaughter did not apply in this case.

and here:

No. Please stop trying, you're just digging yourself deeper.

Lets just focus on agreed facts and what has been admitted by Zimmerman:

Martin was walking home. Zimmerman was following Martin. Zimmerman called the police. They told him not to say anything or get out of his car. Zimmerman started talking to Martin and eventually got out of his car. Zimmerman killed martin at close range.

There you have it. Regardless of whatever peoples "opinions" are or what transpired outside of those events, Martin would have got home, Zimmerman would not have pulled gun and Martin would be alive.

Anyone can walk anywhere that is not private property and should do so unhindered. That is actually the law.

Everything that Zimmerman did was either against direct police advice or even technically illegal.

i highlighted the relevant parts. its not a crime to disregard what a dispatcher says. they are not sworn peace officers.

this is florida law

843.02 Resisting officer without violence to his or her person.Whoever shall resist, obstruct, or oppose any officer as defined in s. 943.10(1), (2), (3), (6), (7), (8), or (9); member of the Parole Commission or any administrative aide or supervisor employed by the commission; county probation officer; parole and probation supervisor; personnel or representative of the Department of Law Enforcement; or other person legally authorized to execute process in the execution of legal process or in the lawful execution of any legal duty, without offering or doing violence to the person of the officer, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

(1) Law enforcement officer means any person who is elected, appointed, or employed full time by any municipality or the state or any political subdivision thereof; who is vested with authority to bear arms and make arrests; and whose primary responsibility is the prevention and detection of crime or the enforcement of the penal, criminal, traffic, or highway laws of the state. This definition includes all certified supervisory and command personnel whose duties include, in whole or in part, the supervision, training, guidance, and management responsibilities of full-time law enforcement officers, part-time law enforcement officers, or auxiliary law enforcement officers but does not include support personnel employed by the employing agency.

had Zimmerman disobeyed the instructions of sworn peace officers, i have no doubt that the prosecution would have charged him with that offense as well.

carry on.

One: Never said he was 6'2, I said he was 5'11 and Martin was 5'7
Two: I never said 911 dispatchers aren't part of "law enforcement", I said they're not members of the police department. It's a civil service job and they dispatch fire, EMT, police, etc. The location of the dispatcher's base is completely irrelevant.

You can keep claiming I said things that I didn't, or you can just admit that you're wrong now and save yourself the embarrassment.

He's 4 inches taller, keep that in mind. Now do you honestly think Zimmerman looks more imposing?

4 inches taller than 5'7 is 5'11. Apparently you're pretty bad at math too.

Since spacey orange already completely tore apart your whole "dispatchers are police officers" argument, I'll just post a picture from the exact same wikipedia article that you says "has it right."

No, I didn't. Show me where I said what you accused me of: sworn peace officer.

Here's what I said:

Zimmerman called the police

specifically instructed by the police

He called 911, and spoke to the Police Communications Officer, stationed at the County Sherif's office, under the employ of the county Sheriff.

But please, continue wasting all our time with your bullshit attempts at semantics which have nothing to do with the fact, by his own words, he called "the police" and the transcripts show he was told not to do it:

Dispatcher: Are you following him?
Zimmerman: Yeah
Dispatcher: Ok, we don't need you to do that.
Zimmerman: Ok

But guess what? He continued, even after he agreed no to.

Posted by srussell0018 on Jul-21-2013 00:59:

Why are you referring to them as dispatcher then?

Lots of people say "I called the police" when they dialed 911 if they were doing so to have a police officer dispatched. That doesn't mean they spoke to "the police."

What the fuck are you two on about? That's a direct TRANSCRIPT from the 911 call

I said, by his own admission, he called the police by dialling 911 to do so. They (The Police Communications officer) told him to stand down.

The number he dialled was 911, with intent to report a potential crime to the police. The person he called works for the police, called police communications officer, at the county sheriff office.

They told him to stand down and although he agreed with "OK", he did the opposite.

Now when you want to call the police, what number do you dial? When you call 911 and report a crime, who the fuck are supposed to turn up? THE POLICE.

Which fucking bit are you struggling with? oh, the semantics. I said already I don't give a shit. He admitted to "calling the police" and the person he spoke to works for the police. However you want to try to twist it, it doesn't matter to me or anyone else.

Oh and one final thing, I said the police arrest report listed Zimmerman as 5'8". The wiki may well list something else, but that means the official Police document I linked to measured him at 5'8" (maybe with shoes on?).

My problem is that you keep saying a 17yr old underweight black kid, is scarier than a 27 year old around the same height, with a skinhead but over 40lbs heavier and therefore obviously heavier set/more built.

I can't help but feel from what you've posted on this site in various threads over the last few months that you see black, and shit yourself.

So when your house is on fire you call the police? Since apparently 911 is synonymous with the police now.

I also already posted that Trayvon's weight is ideal in almost every height/weight ratio index that exists, so I don't know where you're getting this "underweight black kid" thing from. Probably your arse just like everything else you say.

Posted by srussell0018 on Jul-21-2013 02:34:

Also I'd be a lot more intimidated by someone who was 4 inches taller than me than someone 3-4 inches shorter and 40 lbs heavier, especially considering that 40 lbs was located in his stomach. Even his MMA instructor referred to him as a flabby mess.

Don't even get me started on fast twitch muscles either.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Jul-21-2013 03:16:

you really don't know a thing about fighting. Fists last for about 10 seconds until you pin the person on the ground and weight matters more than height. Height is a disadvantage. Not that this even matters. I mean you just don't fucking get the irony. If he was so afraid of the back kid, why did he approach him. You seem to think fear is universal and your definition of what is intimidating is some golden standard.

Given what happened, the logical person would of been clearly more afraid of zimmerman. So why can't TM consider zimmerman a threat. I mean it would be nice to ask him except he is dead. And fat can be mistaken as muscle when you are wearing loose clothing. Weight makes people look big and that is intimidating. Not to mention one of the two had a fucking gun. So really, who should of been intimidated ?

ridiculous. Too fucking scary but not scary enough to get close enough to fucking shoot him. I mean come on.
