Yea I agree. The way the line cues are orchestrated at Ryze is completely godawful. Who ever decided to put coat check where it is now in the back was clearly not thinking straight. The line extends and blocks the entire back area of the dancefloor just behind the rear speakers. On busy and even semi-busy nights the coat check line converges with the bathroom lines and then it even spills into the bar area cue. It completely messes up the whole back 1/4 of the club which is disappointing because that is prime dancing space. What a cluster fuck! I actually prefer if the coat check was moved back downstairs.

Would Coda ever entertain a DnB booking? Someone like Seba or Calibre would be an incredible experience there.

perhaps on a weekday or a long weekend Sunday.

That's the one thing I don't like about Coda - it replaced the one dedicated Drum n Bass club in Toronto (at which both of those guys and many others have played). That, and it was a decent live music venue in the week.

Yea agreed. I was at both the Seba and Calibre shows and while they were fun, the soundsystem didnt do justice. The PK application would be the ticket.

I have a feeling there will be some drum and bass in the future of Coda

Jamie Jones killed it! Really nice guy, i spoke to him after his set... he didnt play the tracks i wanted him to play but it was still a sik set... He played the new Nic Fanchuli remix of Benedicition that was pretty cool...
Only issue with the night was AGAIN the ******y with the line up... we had tixs this time, n was forced to wait outside for 30mins at 1am... like come on at 1am most of the heads are already in the club and theres no need to hold the ticket line up that long... like the cash line up sure because of capacity issues... but the tix line up shouldnt need to wait that long.... they let in the people on the "list" but held the tix and cash line up... like really

anyways we got in at 1:30 and i think Jamie had just started... gutted i missed Nitin but whateves... another note of interest that we were talking about before, the over head LED's were running some new animations that were nice and colourful... but we need more of these LED's... like enough cover the entire ceiling lol

can't wait for Soloumn

Don't you know that it's a club and that you're supposed to wait unnecessarily outside even if you have tickets? Show me any venue in Toronto that has presale tix and where ppl just enter the place without waiting.

Stop trolling. You're supposed to wait outside clubs, ticket or not ticket. How dare you talk crap about Coda, the "new temple of sound". This place is absolutely perfect in all regards and they can make you wait 2 hours if they wanted to. Anything regarding lineups, coat check being full etc. is just due to trollish behaviour.

People with tickets didn't have to wait in line until 12:30, it was announced beforehand that this would be the case.
Also there have been numerous times when I purchased tickets, be it a club, a concert or a festival and I had to wait at least 30 minutes in line to get in. I don't understand where your logic derives from. If only ticket holders were let in until the last ticket holder was inside then people who missed out on buying tickets for a sold out show would be standing in the freezing cold for hours before being let in.
