I just learned some bizarre news - at my new job, we don't get days off for Canadian holidays but we get them for the US ones, so I'm celebrating July 4th but not July 2nd, balls!

My mixing might suck, but my track selection does not.
At least I like to think so.

Still at work, not that today's been a busy or productive day.
No one has been working, mngrs and partner's included.
Took an early lunch, to come back at 12:45 to have Darrin (a partner in the firm) tell me he thinks we should take out Heather (manager) to lunch today, as we had to rain check her bday lunch a couple weeks.
i had forgotten all about it. anyways, so here there my SECOND lunch.. .which ran easily 2 hours itself.
went out to our favourite italian restuarant, Tesoro's.
Had numberous beers and some excellent foods and chats. Way too many laughs...
and to kick it off, discover that OH! I recognize that waitress, she's my ex! hah (only with light brown hair now insted of blonde... not a fan of that, its just not the same or as hot, but she was as cute as ever, and still love that smile.)
lol as we're paying the bill, she needs to know darrin's name, so said
"well, I'll only tell you if you tell us how it was dating jamie back then" lol
gotta love darrin, coolest partner ever... big fan of the eurodance... its how we originally became friends at the office yeras ago when i first started, finding out we both shared that music love... its amazing the way music can bring ppl together.

i have a strange desire to rent some old milla jovovish movies... dazed adn confused, blue lagoon, fifth element (well, i own that one, twice.)
and need to catch up on my studying and the bookkeeping for my buddy's business.
i have family coming up tomorrow for the cdn/american long weekend, so wanna get ahead. no heavy drinking for me.
we *were* gonna go see Die Hard 4... till we realized it doesnt show till sunday! (well, a sneak peak screening up here there is at 8pm on saturday too)
