just one he is ready to start for them now and for us maybe the next year he is that good trust me he is farther along than Zlatan was at his age now so he is quite a talent top 5 youth players in the world along with Aguero and Co.

It's official: Crespo is an Inter's player

he arrives on loan from chelsea, with a contract for 2 years

Breaking news: In response to Inter signing Crespo, Obafemi Martins has handed in an official transfer request.

Newcastle's manager was in Holland on the weekend watching him in the Amsterdam tournament. He is one of our main targets, along with Kuyt from Feyenoord. I wouldn't be surprised if we put a bid in for Martins very soon, although there's bound to be competition to get him.

not a huge fan of this seeing as we wont sign toni now and losing martins is not good as ive always been a fan of his

FUCK OFf MARTINS FUCCKKK OOOOFFFFF MARTINS!!!
FUCK OFf MARTINS FUCCKKK OOOOFFFFF MARTINS!!!
FUCK OFf MARTINS FUCCKKK OOOOFFFFF MARTINS!!!

Thank god I dont have to go through another Season with Martins as starter. Newcastle you can have him if you are UEFA Cup wannabe's because you will never win anything great with him. Emre & Oba Oba

You seem happy. You get a new player and Martins wants out. Nice.

Yeah.

In my defense, I always think you're the only one posting here.

he has certain talents that stand out...pace mostly the rest he is really bad plz buy him though

Posted by evil_bastard on Aug-08-2006 00:12:

Martins is regarded as the fastest player in football and at 22 he can only get better. He's not just about pace, he's an excellent dribbler of the ball and his finishing is better than many make out. There was a time when people thought Eto'o wasn't prolific enough, that he was just about pace.

In Serie A it is usually bigger strikers who succeed, strikers such as Adriano, Crespo, Lucarelli, Toni, Vieri etc. Teams defend a lot deeper than they do in England. The English league is a lot quicker and much more attacking and this opens up gaps for quicker players to exploit. Look at the difference Thierry Henry made when he moved from Juventus to Arsenal.

I'd definitely have Martins for the right price, my only reservation is we could do with someone to hold the ball up and he doesn't do that. I think his pace would rip up the Premiership though, as it did against Arsenal at Highbury a couple of years ago. Michael Owen is likely to miss the whole season, indeed his career is in doubt at the moment as he'll possibly have missed 18 months of football by the time he returns, so we could do with Martins pace.

Posted by InterMilan31 on Aug-08-2006 01:58:

by all means take him like u took emre both will never be missed

i agree w/ evil_bastard..... so so young and pretty good... we should try and keep him to try and develop him more.... if he could finish a lil better he'd be one of the best fwds in football

i think if he goes to the Epl he'll do well.... probly reach superstar status and everybodys gonna all over Inter letting another huge talent go

and realisticly how long does crespo have as a top tier foward? martins is nearly as valuable right now and 2 years later when crespo's contract is up martins could have reached the potiential i keep blabbering on about... id rather have decent young talent, that has the possiblity to become a superstar and then more expensive stars on the downward slope *cough* figo, viera, crespo *cough*

inter needs to get younger and we really need to stop the whole "hey lets sign everybody who was good in the year 2000" thing

wrong dru I know you love Oba but he had to go. Played over 140 matches with under 50 goals. That is not good enough. He is 22. Go look at other 22 year old players who have played 140 competitve matches lets see how far they have progressed in that time. Oba has not at all. He came onto the scene with a bang oh wow look at this kid pace like lightning and had a memorable goal against Milan but that was just about it for him. He lead this club no where he showed he isnt big enough or talented to play in Serie A.

He is leaving not because Crespo is replacing him but because Crespo now pushes him to fourth choice. Cruz is a much better option than him. I dont want to bash Newcastle here but we are playing for titles and European cups to have some second rate striker who can run laps but lose the ball at the same time is no where good enough maybe he will help Newcastle get over the hump for 4th or whatever their goal is but he isnt good enough for us thats for sure.

Figo has been nothing but great for us. Vieira and Crespo need to show themselves but I have no doubts. Inter is a giant club and looking to win now. Why go for the future and risk alot we did that already. I think Crespo & Vieira are not even key transfers for us. Look at Maxwell and Maicon both under 24 and both bought for 0 ZILCH NADA! I have a problem with Inter's transfer policies in regards to overpaying and contract cancelations but this summer has been great. Forza Crespo.

Also evil is right about one thing him not being able to play in Italy....I hope he does do well there hell Okocha was a star but when you are crying about how he cant keep hold of the ball or has no talent in regards to pure skill dont come crying to me.

yeah i guess im biased kuz when i burst on the scene i was like what do we have here!... and not in a bad way lol

i hope he goes to tottenham if we seel him so i can buy myself another martins shirt lol i still get to see him play every week since the local tv station shows nuthing but man u liverpool and tottenham

im most deffintly not sold on cruz... i just dont trust him to have a season like he did last campaign

and im not saying figo isnt playing well... but we couldve used that money to buy somebody like a kaka or c. ronaldo... somebody young, and a blue chip prospect

but i must say im happy crespo is back i was pissed when we gave him away... i bet eddies pissed about having another argentine player

Notice something about Martins....2nd tier EPL clubs want him

Cruz top scorer last year...solid player...not really reliable but gets job done incase of injury. And he never complains about his role gotta love that shit lol he is some type of Angel??

As for Ronaldo & Kaka those are bad examples lol. Rather have Figo out Moggi than Kaka wanting a Real Saga and Ronaldo winking lol. I hear you on it but cant complain now what has Ronaldo won and Kaka well we never had a chance for him anyway lol.

Im praying for the Pizarro for Mancini of Roma swoop...talk about bargains

Posted by drufrumvancity on Aug-08-2006 10:26:

lol yeah... id fly to milan just to punch c. ronaldo in the overies if he ever came

its not kakas fault he wants to be a puto... who doesnt wanna be grossly overpaid?

forza inter!

Toni won't arrive to inter

after the dialogue with della valle, he decided to remain at fiorentina, trying again to reach the qualification to champions league
