[rant] Hummers (the cars not the "perks" ) shoudl be banned. I about got fucking run over by one crossing the RESIDENTIAL street between my apartment and the gorcery store's side lot. The ass swung around the next corner and was driving right down the center of the road ....I was most the way across and well past the side of the road he SHOULD have been on and he still almost hit me. ******s. i hate SUVs in general (except for moving ). i can't see any good reason for there to be so many fucking gigantic cars on the road. aside from the environmental and economic implications of burning that much gas, they're just huge! waste of money, waste of space, shitty to drive. they're all compensating for something.

I HATE Escalades...no point in having one if you live in or near a city. I especially hate the ones with the half suv half pick-up. Whats the point?

The Avalanche is one I would think about buying for a couple reasons...the biggest of which is if you fold down the pass through you can fit a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the bed/backseat. But your truck is still the same size as a shortbed pickup. That is a big deal for me because an extended cab pickup with a longbed is waaaaaay too big for me.

But since I can't afford to pay 38,000 dollars for ANYTHING and I don't like the exterior design they went with (I loved the prototype though) I am not going to get one anytime soon.

Actually the turtle mobile had good handling and acceleration and gas mileage for that matter.

It just had other issues lol.

Like when it got REALLY cold...the locks would freeze as in the little plungers would freeze in the down position and I would have to open the hatchback and crawl in across the seats and wait for the heater to warm the doors up enough to unlock them lol.

One good thing about it was everyone always knew I was coming lol.

Haha. I had some jackass in an H2 try to block me when I went to pass another car on 6-95 the other day. It was one of those shoot for the gap, then watch that jerkoff speed up at the last moment so you can't get over (and you would have to nail the brakes to avoid a slower car in front of you) type of maneuver. Unfortuynately for him, I don't drive a 6000lb land-hog so I'm actually able to accelerate and pass without much effort. The aforesaid jerkoff tried riding my bumper and flashing his high beams but I just said fawk him and quickly got it up to about 100, which is WAAAYYYYYY above that land behemoth's top speed anyway.

I'm sorry, but if I'm going to be getting 12 miles per gallon I'm going to be driving 110mph when I'm doing it!

I just love it when I hit 60mph traffic in the fast lane, it's so fun fighting the idiots who think that they are out there enforcing the rules by driving the (SLOW ASS) speed limit right next to the 18 wheeler in the middle that's actually passing them 95% of the time.
