Getting ready to pump up in about 10 minutes - chest and shoulders.
I'll post updated pics of my gym in a few.
Our new piece de cardio:

The hi-lo cables and chin bar:

The multi-bench:

The dumbbells - 5 lbs to 52.5 lbs and the olympics for everything over that. Which for me is like everything I lift.
/douche Also can see the stability plate.

And the last picture is the best:

nice equipment.
although nothing can beat a proper gym though. I'd rather pay whatever to get everything you need. I know you probably think you have everything you need there ( bench + DB's). But it's good to change everything up every now and then. plus 50 pound DB's are light as shit :P. I do more doing lateral extensions :P
My gym only goes to 50kg DB's (110lbs) and I've outgrown that gym bad.

I've also lifted long enough to know how to mix up my routine with what I have, it's all I've ever really used anyways. When I purchased the equipment, I kept that in mind and I have almost (I still want a dip station) everything I need. In addition to the SelectTech dumbbells, I have olympic dummbbells that I can load up to 130. |

I ate chinese food last night and then, without thinking, mowed down on some this morning... I currently feel like my gut is the size of Texas
mmm chinese food!
I'm starving this morning, I can seriously eat a cow right now. It feels as if my metabolism has kicked into ultra high gear. So today starts the training, I'll probably do a 4M tonight to run the biathlon course. Its a there and back 2M, hopefully I can do it twice in a row.
wai - hope you enjoyed my core work out, you'll probably want to do it every other day or two days, same for the lower back exercises.
remember - keep it up!
man i haven't been to the gym in 4 days. i'm slippin. although i went jet skiing yesterday and that shit is a workout in itself.

Me and my brother won a free month of jiu jitsu training at a martial arts place nearby. Should be pretty fun never done anything like that? Anyone ever take karate lessons or something lol? My bro just talked to them on the phone and they said it was gonna be a lot like MMA style training pretty cool. If I'm not throwing fireballs by the 2nd week I'm quiting though
Yeah, took some Karate lessons when I was around 10-11 and managed to get to Brown Belt before I lost interest and took up other interests. As there was no time limit or any special offers, it was fairly evenly paced.
Yeah, you don't get to throw fireballs until your a little more experienced, around green belt I'd say. They find the crane to be a little more advanced though for the beginner.
In other news, I'm now clocking up some serious mileage over the past 8 days in prep for that marathon next year. 6 miles a day at the moment, with the occasional rest day and some really light weightwork at the gym for an hour 3 times a week.
I'm aiming to do it in under 4 Hrs, but if all goes well I may even ramp it up a little and try for 3 Hrs 30 Mins.
i started taking kempo karate classes in 2006 with the creator of the martial arts' grandson so he knew his stuff and had all types of sick belts. he taught us how to break someone's jaw the first day of class THEN it got boring, mostly cardio stuff and simple punches/blocks/kicks. i quit...wish i kept up with it though.
i'm now up to 14-15 pullups in a row. 10 more and i'll reach my goal!
broke out 4miler last night in 45mins lol, guess that should suffice since I ran the biathlon leg twice, the first part is uphill but coming back in return is downhill which will be heaven come the 4th leg of the last mile. broke out another 3.5 this morning before work and I'm starting to feel my groove. Knocked out the 5k in 32mins but i was running a medium pace since I was pretty tired from the night before...worked up a great sweat for the morning which I haven't done in a while. Anyways, softball tonight, then gym to hit up chest. Managed to work in some bar work outside of my apartment on a scaffolding before last nights run, i love having that bar out there but also HATE having the scaffolding blocking my balcony.

just stopped in to recommend the atkins diet, or any low carb diet for that matter. It works like crazy for me..and I do very little exercise. Down from 260 to 240 in a month..eating virtually anything I want, whenever I want.. Unlimited eggs, full-fat cheese, burgers, bacon, fresh salads with olive oil & vinegar..fresh green veggies...almonds, macadamia nuts.. That's about it. I eat tons of fatty (and delicious) stuff, and as long as I don't go over 20 carbs in a day the weight keeps shedding. Pwnage.
