Small change to the 2 for 1 deal
Due to a slight misunderstanding with the park when we first posted our 2 for 1 deal concerning Plan A EB tickets we have had to make a small change:
Anyone with a PLAN A (original $65 Early Bird Ticket) can bring a friend for no additional charge EXCEPT a $10/day camping fee that goes directly to the venue whether you camp or not. The change is that it was a a per day fee, not overall fee as we first thought. So all 3Day freebie folks have to pay $20 at the gate instead of $10 as first promised. Our apologies for the mixup - but its not that big of a difference and still a killer deal! All those with a PLAN A 2Day ticket still pay the originaly promised $10 for the second ticket.
See you all next week! Its gonna be big.
Last year there were just over 10,000 views on this topic when the party hit - looks like its heading there again!

my question regards the camp grounds.
I did not read all 19+ pages of this thread so im sorry if this was already asked.
but, does anyone know, do you have to call ahead and reserve a campsite, and if not, will there be enough sites for all those attending that choose to camp out?

Kewl. my concern is that I was told that if they run out of sites, they will put you into overflow. EEK. In my experience, overflow is none to be desired. We are leaving on Friday at noon, and should be there around 5pm friday, so hopefully we will be there early enough to get a regular site....
You cannot pre-reserve but there should be sufficient space for everyone coming to the event.

Question for all you Canadians out there. Whats the legalities around weed theses days. I know you all are decriminilizing it, but what are the actual laws now?
And I also wanted to warn anyone traveling across the boarder from the US to canada for the show.
When your shopping for food to bring, leave fruit off the list unless its canned. Some stupid agriculture law forbids it. And that sux, cause I love eating fruit when Im out in the sun all day dancing. So refreshing. MMMMM oranges.
Also, dont bring used pipes/bowls. Buy a cheep new one for the trip and get rid of it before comming back. They can give you a UPM (unlawful possession) ticket for the residue and paraphrenallia. I have seen it happen.
And some more common sense when packing:
1. Leave items of value at home. There will be theifs abound.
2. Bring lots of drinking water. Even though they say they will have facilities, lines are usually rediculous at events like these.
3. Bring toilet paper, they always seem to run out at festivals.
4. Bring baby powder. Keeps you from chaffing in all the wrong areas when your sweaty and dancing. Plus it works as a great odor eater.
5. Bring a tarp. It looks like we might get some rain this weekend, nice to have a dry place to sit under.
6. Bring a small propane grill. Weber makes one for like 50 dollars. Have everyone in your group chip in 10-15 bucks. We have one we bring to every festival we goto. They are easy to transport and make grilling way easy if you cant find firewood. You would not believe how many people have come to borrow ours at festivals.
7. If you have prescription medications you need to bring, make sure they are in the prescription bottle with your name on the label. Security can confiscate them otherwise. It has happened.
8. Bring sandals. From the looks of it in some pictures I have seen of this park, if it rains here, its gonna get really muddy. Sandals are alot easier to keep clean and dry off, and wont normally tear up your feet if they get wet. This is also where the baby power can help.
9. Bring non-parishables to eat. If your bringing a cooler, and bringing things like hotdogs, dont depend on there being a place to find ice. Just in case there is an ice shortage, bring food that will not spoil as well.
Some suggestions: Granola Bars, Canned foods (chef boy r dee), canned fruits, chips, trail mix, etc.
10. Have fun, and see you there!

WEMF2003 Plan B Participation & Camping Waiver - To attend WEMF2003 Plan B you will have to fill out a short participation & camping waiver that is standard to most campgrounds in the province. To speed the entry process at the main gate we reccomend that you print and fill out the form in advance and have it ready when you arrive at the main gate to get your wristband. Please fill out all sections EXCEPT THE SIGNATURE LINE WHICH YOU MUST SIGN IN FRONT OF A WEMF2003 STAFF MEMBER UPON ARRIVAL. Thanks a bunch and see you at the festival!
