I'm pretty much there with mine, it's all sequenced up and sounding good, just need to add some finishing touches to make some parts more interesting.

It's a bit proggy tho (and I hope the judges appreciate a nice long intro :haha

blah im fucked.. this morning reason wanted me to insert the orkester cdbank again (Why oh why??). which i lend to my mate who now is on holiday in canada for a month (Y). when he's back i got like 3 days to finish the track:S ah well..

im using headphones because of the thump factor as well

^^ big fan of headphones myself.. that way you can hear much more details, which is an advantage during production and now for judging as well.. plus u don't disturb the people around you indeed!

yes but i am a firm believer of not producing with headphones it sounds totally different when it goes onto speakers :/

deft: i think it is possible to do it in 12 days.. i did my uktaremixcomp entry in 3 days from scratch (it did sound rushed tho)

bah. fug it. I'll wait for the next comp. when there's a better track selected. :P

I'm coming worryingly close to mantis' problem, its got to the point that with any more things going at once in my mix, it wont play.

I've tried absolutley everything, but i just dont know what i can do, my comp is just too shit

if anyone is a sc member youve no doubt seen my pleas for help there

if i cant resole this then im literally going to have to pull out, because i almost cant play my remix

That's actually not a bad idea, although i sort of need to listen to the synths and the baseline, and the percs etc all together to see how they are all sitting.

i dunno if i'll submit a remix, i'd try however.. it's sounding too bad to even be submited

ahh finally finished my track and uploaded it - with a half-assed job at mastering haha..

cant wait to hear what everyone else has done!!
