You don't need anything else. Calvin and Hobbes are the greatest. No other comic can be as poignant, introspective, and comedic at the same time. I think I have every single one of Watterson's books (and was in the same frat as his nephew ... who looks remarkably like Calvin). At any rate, the only other thing that comes close is the Far Side.

yeah,, i prefer to put quotes and passages from books i like. i think it's quite telling.
