personally i find nothign wrong with the setup except for maybe a little buzzing. maybe its just because i always play on crappy setups.

Posted by AquaYak on May-04-2005 22:32:

o yeah and when angelo turns off the monitors when im tryign to mix, hehe.

Posted by DjCommisad on May-04-2005 23:33:

i had no troubles when i brought my pc up there

I love playing for Angelo. Unfortunately the DJ booth is a nightmare!!! My mixer doesnt fit between the turntables and the feedback always seems to be worse when I go up there. Obviously if you're using cd decks or a pc you wouldn't have any problems.

You should have heard Mirka's show last week. It sounded like the entire soundboard was buzzing! Buzzed when she played, buzzed when she talked, buzzed during the PSAs.

Mirka's got the same mixer which she shoehorns into the gap between the turntables. Imagine if you had a 19" mixer!
Where do the DJs set up their CD decks? There really isn't any room in there to put 2 CD players plus a mixer.

last week i saw bryan put his cd decks on both sides of the TTs and the mixer in between

There's no room on the left side of the left turntable, unless you move the stack of equipment beside the soundboard. Where did he put his MP3 player?

Posted by apri_peel on May-05-2005 22:10:

on the table, in front of the CD player the station has

Posted by BryanMckinlay on May-05-2005 22:13:

Do your MP3s sound as good as the vinyls?

hopefully someone recorded it!!!

Posted by apri_peel on May-13-2005 07:00:

well, i was trying to listen in but it wasnt broadcasted in stereo at all and there seemed to be a lot of interference from another station. when i was in the car driving, i stoped at a red light and instead of trance i was getting some piano music from another station :\

Greg, ask Angelo after next week's show! BTW, it sounded a bit choppy on the cable. It's harder to listen on the antenna because the station's signal is kinda weak, and other adjacent stations have more powerful transmitters.

Posted by sw1 on May-16-2005 18:58:

The station was using their backup transmitter which made it very difficult to pick up over the air.

100% armin show tonite !!!!!

Tonite show will be a tribute show to one of the best dj around . Expect 2plus hours of just armin van buuren , ill have his whole collection with me so feel free to make a request or 2 . Tune in midnite tonite cjsf 90.1 fm or [url]www.cjsf.bc.ca

Dreaming about pretty lady.

BTW, sound quality so-so, lots of static. Must be backup transmitter still. Armin won't be pleased.
