Shame Iverson can never get the right talent around him...Igoudala was a step in the right direction...but a jump shooting power forward who wont bang inside is no help...but at least they tried to get him some help with Chris "mr. clutch" webber

I say heat in 5 and man I hope that other series goes 7 and they just beat the shit out of each other so whoever wins in the end will be worn out vs the Heat

Wheres the love for Steve Nash?

No one posted it yet I belive that he is this years MVP. It was either him or Shaq so it is deserved. TOO BAD 4 U EDDIE!!!

With the NHL done for this season and a Canadian being the best basketball player of the year Canadians must be confused.

Nice game in Dallas today! Good, that Mavs beat the Rockets, I want to see them playing.

BTW another Pistons - Pacers challenge, do You remember how was it last year in the playoffs or what happened during their game at Palace? Hyhy interesting games coming...

Posted by LeopoldStotch on May-08-2005 14:33:

pacers win in a blowout .. mavs win in a blowout .. two teams win arguably proving they were they better of the two teams .. boston at least made an effort .. houston had no life against dallas .. they can always say there's always next year .. hahhahaha ..

but pacers-pistons battle is huge .. it's going to be a brawl .. errr... well a hard fought battle "inside the court" .. not "outside the court" ..

will perdue has 3 rings .. 2 chicago .. 1 san antonio

steve kerr has i think 3 rings ?? 2 chicago ?? 1 san antonio ..

and

patrick ewing, charles barkley, dominique wilkins, alex english, mitch richmond, and chris mullin have TOTAL been to 3 championships .. but 0 rings ..

john, will, and steve better thank michael for what he gave them ..

it still saddens me to this day that Rory Sparrow never won a title....
how bout some love for the old school Heat players
I mean come on this year we brought back alot of our old classic players and coaches , ZO, Steve Smith, Ron Rhonstein
lets bring back somehow Rony Seikly ,Glenn Rice,Billy Thompson,Sherman Douglas, Whilie Burton ...Alan OGG etc... and let them share in this great moment if we win the Title.

bump ..

ahoy philly phans .. i guess the good news has spoken .. jim o'brien has received the boot, and lo and behold .. look who is the successor .. good ol' mo cheeks ..

should we expect happy times next year in philly, especially with many people probably returning next year .. i think philly should ask pat croce to come back .. he did some marvelous upper management moves back then ... he found eric snow and speedy claxton at the right times .. etc ..

Now all they need is a good PG and to trade Bryant and Odem...

10 million a year for Jackson....they still wont make the playoffs

true .. well depending on how they do in the draft .. they get felton in the draft, they could make the playoffs .. i see felton as a smart and psychological player who plays tough defense .. phil jackson loves that (i.e. ron harper )

they need a PG to make the playoffs...like Marbury

one can dream (of the Knicks trading away Marbury and clearing cap space )

Hmmm I also think, that hiring Cheeks as a 76ers coach wasn't the best Sixers move. IMO O'Brien was coaching them great during this season, it's obvious, that the coach needs some time to work with the team and then the results will come. It was good season for the 76ers if we look at their roster. Without many star players, only with AI they challenged Pistons in the Playoffs. If they had O'Brien next season with Mash on the court, with the rising talent of Iguadala they would get even farther than just a 1st round of the Playoffs. BUt with Cheeks I'm worrying about their future to be honest..

And what about Phil??? I think he's a weird guy. He decided to take the year off, OK. Then he realised, that he can't live without basketball. But I thought, that he decided to take a break because of the players like Kobe, but now I can see that he doesn't care about him. Strange...

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Jun-19-2005 23:39:

theres 10 million reasons why I dont think its strange

plus isnt he still bangin the owners daughter

but yeah I agree only thing wierd is how in the hell would he come back to the same team he was sick of after all he went through with Kobe that made him retire. There were so many other teams he could go to for the same amount of money.
