Yeah PM can be daunting! Right next to my office at Woodside Mall (I think that's ther right name)--Woodbine and Hwy 7 there's this Chinese mall that has about 5 stores. I checked it out a few months ago and the prices and selections were pretty awesome. Maybe if you and Simms wanted to drop by in Richmond Hill after work sometime I can show you around. I could use an update after receiving that shitty phone that Cale also cut up quite nicely for me.

And gives you a massive hard-on while revving at 9500rpm.

Fuad, have you seen those new race-inspired Vertu phones?

OR

~$6000 (basic model - accent) - VERTU. Yes it sounds ridiculous to spend so much on a phone, but I want one!!

Yeah, I know about the nokias, I was just talking about in general, and the Vertu is really in a league of its own with the pricing.

Yea dude, there were some limited edition ones, with a tire thread at the back of the phone. A bit ghey if you ask me. I want a Vertu, even the basic one (accent), but fuck, I cannot justify spending that much money on a phone. A buddy of mine has it, and it sure is sweet!

I want the motorsport edition!!! yummm..

Posted by VERTiG0 on Apr-19-2006 01:08:

Well those too, but I mean the Racetrack Legends series...

Silverstone and Monza are out now, the first 2 of the series of 6. 1000 will be made of each, starting at $5700 USD.

no kidding fayraree, i completely agree.

when i got mine two years ago, i went to the shop and said, i want a phone. i dont need bluetooth, i dont need a camera, i dont even need a color screen (but they all had color).

the cameras in them are SHIT anyway...

i love my nokia 3120!

Thanks dude! I think i will definietly be checking it out cause I'm a cheap and I am not paying $300+ for a phone that I'll end up dropping somewhere!

I'll most likely hit up PM sometime during a weekend in the near future. I know those places are daunting and I am the worst at bargaining - I can't do it to save my life.

Yup, I mentioned that in my previous post, I do not like the tire thread on those phones. I saw them in London not too long ago. A bit cheesy if you ask me. But I love the track display on the battery cover.

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Apr-19-2006 03:02:

I don't get these phones. What exactly makes them so sweet? The pricetag?

1. The craftsmanship that goes in the making of the phone
2. Exclusivity.

Posted by VERTiG0 on Apr-19-2006 04:34:

I think they're pretty ugly

They have no function nor style. At least Rolex looks good for the most part.

And exclusivity? You can buy like a 500 dollar phone, and good chances are you'll never meet anybody who has one like yours, especially if you buy one that was never released in NA.

Its a matter of personal taste.

As you have mentioned earlier, the Vertu is in a league of its own.

I would never spend so much money on a phone, but a part of me wants it!! Esp. the motorsport edition, for obvious reasons.

60$ per month for unlimited internet... rumour is that there's a way to bridge the net connection to a laptop. Bell denies (because they're selling a pc card for net connection at 100$ a month)

Posted by LKD on Apr-20-2006 03:58:

Telus is offering that one right now...not sure if its thru their CDMA side or iDen side tho....

but ive heard nothinb but good reviews about it...seems like the only complaint is the keypad and how it faces another angle when u wanna dial

Edit: yea its pcs meh...

I have had nightmares with Windows Mobile. Hopefully all the bugs have been taken care of.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post in this thread, and there's too many pages to read through to see if this was discovered yet.

As some of you know, every month or two, Rogers customers can choose ONLY ONE from a select 5 ringtones for free. Only thing to pay is bandwidth, and for me it's just a few nickels. Wallpapers too. It's a fixed selection, but usually a couple of them are keepers.

Only one other person at my office were aware of this giveaway.

The link is http://www.rogers.com/thankyou.

I've been downloading all five of the ones available for the past year. Anyone else had the same success?

AJ

Posted by VERTiG0 on Apr-25-2006 21:28:

I'll stick to my MP3 ringtones that I make myself.

Current one is Kamaya Painters - Endless Wave.
