Narcism, do you use illustrator to do much design work?
Or you just do all design stuff in PS?

depends which designs your talkin about,
drawings with pencils are done by hand
3d abstract- done in bryce
everything else is photoshop.... although it fucked up the other day and im photoshopless atm

Thanks for the reply.
That Bryce software looks like a really good affordable 3d tool.
Im working on designing some logos and I can get most of the adobe stuff through school so I'm wondering what is a suitable environment to work in PS or Illustrator.
PS seems alot easier but Illustrator looks like it has power.
I'm playing around alot with both but trying to settle into learning just one.

BTW love your drawings. Although, I was showing a friend and they said emo.

there are better 3d programs out there for 3d modelling ect such as 3d studio max and maya, these are more complex to use.
I only use bryce because i always have and i have a soft spot for it

as for the illustrator vs ps debate
i think its a load of bullshit, basically both programs do what you want them to do, if you know how to use them

I guess that just leaves that the main difference is that illustrator is vector imaging which is good if I want to use these logos for printing or re-model them into other designs.
Well since I can get my hands on both for free atm I will continue learning illustrator while still using PS. I'm sure I will find plenty of use for both.
Thanks for the help.
