dude are you kidding me. thats what hernan is great for - dreamy/smooth/emotional yet OH SO BANGIN' progressive music. if you ask me, he has become way too "electro" (judging from his recent radio shows). yeah i also wish we could have the "old school hernan" back, but as far as i'm concerned, hes still king of the sound.

and have you guys noticed a trend in the sets we're all posting... most of the stuff is older. why? cause the music was better pre 2005. yep! no doubt about it.

good choice on the set graham.

I think I would have a heart attack upon reading an announcement of a party like that.

James Zabiela live at Monkey Business 10-12-2004

Posted by BUSTA1080STEEZ on Mar-08-2006 01:23:

the dj vibe sets were alright, too much vocal i thought an not hard enough James Zabiela deff had the beats.. but it seemed like the tracks were holdin back or somethin. i dunno, could be the fact that they have another zillion watts rms on top of my system lol. i think you feel it a bit harder there hahaha

i have a couple tracks id'd, so if you recognise them leme know what genre of music this is. (ive been on dancerecords.com an their pretty speciffic there)

Freeform Five - No More Conversations (Mylo Remix)
Yoshimoto - Do What U Du (Trentemoller Remix)
Mylo feat Freeform Five - Muscle Car (Sander Kleinenberg Remix)
DJ Chus - That Feeling
Laid Back - White Horse
Solid Groove - This Is Sick (Original) ==> heard this at the gallery. when the bass dropped i nearly shit myself... an my heart skipped the rest of the night

hit me back with anything like this stuff!

thanks

you can't be serious.....to complain about vibe sets having too much vocals.....and than to request tracks by referencing a list of tracks where every single one of them have vocals?

the genre you are refering to is pop house....aka tracks you can hear 4 times in one night on any given night out in toronto.

but dont' get me wrong...these tracks are clearly alot harder and way dirtier than the tracks in dj vibe sets.

i think the zone has a mandatory rule that each dj who spins there has to drop no more conversations in their set or else they don't get paid.

it's the only explanation i can think of as to why this occurs everytime i venture into that fuckin' zoo.

I looooooove that set!

And btw, anyone who likes the Mischief and Frankie set linked above, the Circle Intelligence set I posted a couple days ago is the same deep duo

Michief and Frankie are definately awesome. They rocked the lounge at Boa this year and last year on NYE.
