Complete agree with you Lira, the nazi thing was too much, this is only football, but i understand the reasons for that post, as malek, is always posting serious words that can get upset anyone...
My personal response for malek comments is silence, because such person doesnt deserve more...

there's a stretch between referring to genocide, krauts and everything else ww2 related even BY THE MOD HIMSELF! and referring to playing monkey football which i clearly explained why i called it this way.

monkey football is not only played by brazilians but also italians, argentinians, portuguese and others... that too i said, and you obviously just discarded that piece of info to make my comments look racists (most brazilian players are not white).

No, I didn't discard your explanation, and you can see it is part of the letter (it's the third quote). I didn't hide anything, and Taha re-quoted the reason why I added it.

I'm protecting an Argentinian here (and not Brazil), in case you didn't notice. He was suspended thanks to a behaviour similar to yours: the difference is that he was pushing it against the country where that mod lives in, so it was easier for him to see.

Personally, I'd rather see him back than seeing you suspended. Caudio already mentioned what the proper responseto your attitude should be, prior to luv-hat's suspension.

Germany owed this win entirely to the actions of two men: Torsten Frings and Jos Pekerman. That's all there is to say about this match really.

Posted by malek on Jul-01-2006 18:31:

you forgot lehman, he saved 2 out of 4. It all came down to the goalies and he did the difference.

Posted by Sinus on Jul-01-2006 18:33:

Alright, three men

Torsten has been really impressing me so far. He's looking a lot better than that overrated pretty boy Ballack imo.

Lehmann had penalty taker notes

Keeper Jens Lehmann was handed notes before each kick to give him an edge in Germany's shootout win over Argentina.

Yeah old story, over here we knew it 24 hrs ago.

Following possibilities what's on the note:

- nothing, just a psycho trick to make the shooter inconfident

- notes from the scouts how each argentinia player shoots his penalties

- just good wishes from the coaches

you're right, he was great, but those were the only 2 saves i remember him making the entire tournament.. i've heard people before saying lehmann is the best player of the cup so far which is completely batshit insane.

Yep he isn't the best keeper of the World Cup. Of course he has the potential to be it, but he don't get enough shots on the goal to show how good he is.

Posted by LazyTrancer81 on Jul-01-2006 19:41:

It's hard for keepers in teams with a good defense to proove how good they really are.

In 2002 only because of the bad german team (to be correct: VERY VERY bad) Kahn got the chance to proove his skills!

Posted by malek on Jul-01-2006 19:51:

its true lehman made only a few key stops during regular play time, but thats not entirly his fault.

he gave 3 goals all in all during the whole cup (not counting pk), thats very solid.

but at the end of the day, when it mattered the most, he made those saves in PK.

ricardos just a good shot stopper, his handling is shaky at times.

i thought the best keeper debate was settled a long time ago
