Mine came about a week after I bought them. If you used ticketmaster, it shouldn't take more than 7 business days (if you live in the GTA).

My house in Mississauga, or my dorm room in Toronto haha!

Anyway, the Marriott Yorkville/Bloorr is a nice hotel. Was it expensive?
At that point you might as well of gotten a room at the 4 Seasons!

Armin is playing in Montreal from 6 to 10 am from what I was told so expect Him to play until 4 latest, still a very good 3 or 4 hour set is possible. Wish I could do both Venues the same night.

Ticket now in hand. To those that do not already know, THIS WILL BE MY RETIREMENT PARTY. That's right... no more drug fueled nights/mornings/afternoons of mayham and misadventure for me. This will be the last one. I hope to see you all and I thank you for making the last two years of my party life the best two.

I don't mean retirement in the Michael Jordon sense of the word.

that is what I like to hear - I'm hoping 12-3 so i can catch some house after then make it back for ferry....unless digweed fills his box with one of those nasty sets he's capable of spinning, if that happens it's guv love for the rest of the night after armin.

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Aug-15-2006 14:05:

oh wow there IS a reduced list!!! hrms...

anyway, shruggs got my tickets anyway so w/e...how much is the reduced list for anyway?

FINALLY GOT OUR RENTAL CAR SO WE ARE GOOD TO GO!!! YAY!!!

Posted by djstopngo on Aug-15-2006 22:23:

heard from a buddy of mine that even though the event may very well sell out, the bouncers still let people in who come to the door without tickets. As cool as that may sound, my buddy also told me that this has led to people with tickets being turned away due to overcrowding. I have no idea if this is true or if it's some urban labor legend, but I thought I'd let everyone know anyway. I plan on getting there early, I hear mark oliver is pretty decent and a good opening act is always a nice warmup.

Posted by phoenixBEBE on Aug-16-2006 00:53:

mark oliver...is probably one of the BEST resident djs i have ever heard. the first GUV experience i had was on a regular night with him and i loved it!!!~ i hope he plays a GOOD variety

hmm in 2004 we got in fine on guestlist...but yeah even with hard tickets go in early...

hell, we r driving 8+ hrs up for this, no fuckin way we are getting turned away at the door, grrr!! ahaha
