I can't wait for May 13. I'm going to read so much this summer, it's ridiculous.

First up will be:

All I have left to finish the complete works of F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I also want to read some Gabriel Garcia Marquez at some point, but haven't bought it yet.

Been meaning to get around to reading the copy i bought of 'The Age Of Spiritual Machines'

"The Age Of Spiritual Machines is a book by futurist Ray Kurzweil about the future course of humanity, particularly relating to the development of artificial intelligence and its impact on human consciousness. It is also a study on the concept of technological singularity." - Wikipedia

Yeah whatever i can be nerdy at times

i <3 Jonathan Safran Foer.

Posted by denys envy on Apr-25-2007 19:42:

i'll recommend these two. very "different" fantasy. this author has a unique approach to magic. i won't reveal what it is in either cases because that will ruin it. mistborn being an especially satisfying read.

My bf's sister gave it to me for Christmas. I really enjoyed it. A good twist on the Zombie theme.

Copy from the other (obsolete) thread:

Monaldi & Sorti - Veritas. Just started, but it seems to be just as good as their previous two books already, which means it'll be a great read.

These two write great historic thrillers, they give a good representation of what life was like in Europe during the 18th century. Plus, they're great stories.

finished a week or two ago:

next up:

Posted by Slylee on Apr-26-2007 13:45:

ok for some strange reason, lately when i smoke pot, i get in the mood to read a book.

anyway, so last night i smoked a j and went to Barnes & Noble and got this book. haha

it's pretty good actually and since it's kind of hard for me to stay focused on a long novel unless it's REALLY good, i think a book of short stories is more up my alley.

sexxyyy tiiiiiiiiiiime

the first story is about this kid who grew up in a household with lots of foster kids. and there was this one girl who lived with them for a couple of years during high school and he had a big crush on her. she would dress in front of him and stuff like that...big dick tease basically. and then his foster brother (one of the few kids who actually stayed and was raised with him) discovers she's a big porn star now and arranges for them to go see her and they both end up banging her. lol

Posted by jfk-pilot on Apr-26-2007 14:10:

will need to read it for my masters, so might as well start now. So far so good.
