Yeah, I think there are probably some semantic subtleties in effect here...I see what you're saying.

I don't give the same respect to people I have just met as I do for my close friends - is that what you're getting at? I think that's using the words trust and respect interchangably when they are quite different.

I don't hate, but I find it funny, and a little shallow. And I've met a few people from this very board who have acted in this very manner. Still to each their own.

I think that respect is a term that can very loosely be applied to this situation. As in, respect for one another as human beings, but no further than that. It allows both parties to be polite, and if possible, carry on some meaningful, or at least mutually enjoyable conversation. Those elitists that do not abide by this lifestyle paint an entirely different picture of themselves as it is. No point getting pissed off at them. Such as it is our choice to drop, other's choice is not to. It is their ignorance for biasing a personality or individual based on that sole fact, knowing very little, if anything else at all, about said individual.

I disagree, you cant just trust someone right off the bat, thats how youleave yourself open and vulnerable. I remember trusting your buddy that we met at system soundbar and he tricked me into doing K, yuck.

This is what i was thinking. Respecting someone in that being
polite/courteous is just being HUMAN - which u can show anyone
Trust is something completely different. That's gotta obv be earned

LOL! I shouldn't laugh, I'm sorry.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm not talking about complete and total trust, like the way you trust close friends and family. Obviously you still have to be smart/on your guard when meeting new people, but like Skipper said, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. It's just plain courtesy...and everyone deserves that, imo.

I just think it's rude, and it doesn't do anybody any good by assuming the worst. In my experience, I've been able to weed out the losers a lot faster this way too.

Whatever though, different strokes for different folks. Whatever works best for you is how you should do it.

Jarvis. What a fucking snake. I miss the creepy bastard in a weird way though, lol. It's people like him that make the Zone worth surviving, hahahaha.

You'd be surprised how easily it can be done. Especially by a fucking slimeball like this. He tried to do the same thing to me, but with poppers.

His approach was, "Here, smell this...what does it smell like?" While having the substance hidden in his hands. Of course you're not thinking it's gonna be drugs...cause who thinks like that?? And that's how he suckered Jay into doing it. Sounds retarded, but it's true.

You've omitted something I think - did you not look at what you were snorting (I understand your "giving benefit of the doubt" thing, but anything a stranger in a club gives me to smell I'm not going to inhale like it was Colombia's premium cocaine, hell, even if a friend just randomly gave me something to smell I'd carefully whiff cause there'd be a good chance it would be a practical joke), or did you see the white powder and not think it was drugs?

No actually I'm not omitting anything. The guy was a snake, and he was good at tricking people. He took advantage of Jay's trust, plain and simple.

So you're smarter than the average bear, good for you. I guess nobody's ever wronged you.

It looked like he stuck a stick that was on the end of a cap in a bottle and told us to smell it. It was dark in system soundbar, I couldnt see any powder on it. It was near the end of the night. I maybe should not have done it but I was a noob, high and thinking everyone in the clubs were friendly and nice. I have never wanted to do K. He told me it was something different. That is the one and only time I have done that drug and will never touch it.

Vics is awsome when your high. Get on of those single nasal containers thatyou stick in one nostral and inhale. It clears your mind and sinuses and your head feels so lite.
