10/27, Paul Van Dyk @ The PARC, Denver, CO

He's coming to Denver....finally.....is this a Halloween bash or what? And god dang are DJs getting booked early this year!

Well, this really screws up my Thursday plan, but, contrary to my educated guess, Jody is not opening for Markus at the Church, but is apparently playing at the Snake Pitt?? (source - http://jodywisternoff.com/touring.asp)

I don't know this whole snake pit gig seems shady anyways. I mean who would possibly be bringing an international headliner to the Snake Pit? And why the hell haven't they done any promotion whatsoever?

I think my car was flyered like three times with this flyer - they're having Steve Smooth later on in June as well there.

Never mind figured it out. Apparently there is still some remnant of Roofless floating around in Denver.

i could come to that, if i felt any love from the denver hos!

lawler has either been the best or the best disappointment as far as parties go.

hope to involve ourselves more. boulder is a horrible place where people exercise and make money. thats why were moving to denver so katie can make money while i SAVE money and they some sort of awesomeness happens.

chad be nice to me, i know ive ignored the denver peeps, i am just terrified of vinyl. we really cant sort that out minus millions? vinyl is such a terribly run business its hard to claim we dont have the backing! like someone said, afternoon parties on the roof, why is anything that reqs money the last 30 mins of midnight with assholes everywhere|

I still heart Vinyl - I like the dark, better sounding venue with the rooftop firepits. If there are assholes, I just swing the elbows and MAKE some space to dance.

Last time I saw Lawler in Jan in Toronto, it was a far better set than the recent ones I'd seen - he was back to being a little darker than the normal haus DJ. No tribal but good dark n dirty haus with a sprinkling of electro.

Any good recent sets of his? I need to listen to some......

I almost fell of the Markus train, but I decided to get back on - mainly due to my disdain for the snake pit and my desire to party with all you lovely people. Jody's gonna tear it up though, hope he makes it back sometime soon.

What is the deal with Ryan Dkystra and Infected Mushroom? The gig was on the calendar and then BAM no more. Infected has removed it from the list as well. It was supposed to be an outdoor event with IM playing at night. Any info?

Alright, time to announce the next KTV party...

June 30th, 2007 @ the Loft:
Proton Radio Sessions featuring Derek Howell, Naveen G, & Darin Epsilon.

You guys all have to make it out to this one, no excuses this time...

Where was the Jody luv? I guess "the Snake Pit" isn't an endearing name for a club.

Did you go? How was it? I was pretty sad to miss it actually.

Posted by Isolator on May-25-2007 14:20:

Markus was great last night, totally lived up to my expectations. Good seeing some of you guys out. He played several familiar tracks, but unfortunately I don't remember most of them. I do remember the SVD King of My Castle dub. Only other ID that I have is:

Andy Moor vs. Orkidea - YearZero.

Anyways, great night last night.... Gonna be a long day today...
