I met some guy in the gallery who said 25% of the people in the room were going to his after party at Bayview and Sheppard.
He told me he was this awesome DJ who plays the "stuff from the comfort zone" AND when I asked who his musical inspiration was, guess who - Paul Van Dyk.
So did anyone go to that after party? hehehe
Man, that was a tiring night ... couldn't even move to Awakening when it came on. Greece woke me up though

Someday I will recognize all you TOTAs
What's everyone's definition of sketch though?... I get the feeling I look like it just because I'm a bit younger
Note: I dance like I'm trying to make it rain
Wow, I had no intention of checking out SCUMFROG in the Drink. I am so glad that I ventured upstairs. I was fucken blown away because the man actually brought his "A" game on Saturday to Toronto.
I've seen Jesse several times starting at Boa, System, Guv's main room and a few times at Comfort Zone and they've all been meh, at best. His third or fourth try at Zone being his best performance to date.
Was just astonished to look at the DJ booth and it was fucken SCUMFROG killing it and the crowd was just eating it. BTW, the only reason I ended up in the Drink was because Sander K and Max Graham just weren't doing it for me at the time.
After Scumfrog's stellar set at the Drink, I'm jumping on his bandwagon. Wishful thinking if that set was recorded. Hahaha, I can't believe the man didn't suck on Saturday and was fucken AWESOME!!!

It's probably safe to say I wont be out at a club event for a long time. See how it goes though I guess. All I can do is shake my head at myself. Don't understand stuff sometimes, frig. |

Coxx..that last song is
" Cosmic Gate - Analog Feel (Rank1's Digital Rehash) "
I had such an amazing time in the Kool Haus, Talla was unbelievable. I didn't have high expectations for this night, but I was incredibly pleasantly surprised by the amazing Trance I heard that night. I danced all night long which by my standards equals a wicked time. Rank 1 ended off my night with a few old bombs that kept me glued to the dancefloor, my poor friends had to sit and wait for me...all in all awesome time! Kool Haus is definitely my favourite spot in the guv complex! Can't wait for the next one...

| Originally posted by shanny I had the shittiest night ever. We had to wait like 30 mins to get into the club, with guest list. Not impressed. Then when we got in they were charging more cover than they advertised. Who the fuck pulls this shit? Seriously, its like I'm going clubbing in little boy and girl land and mr rogers is the fucking manager. Inside there wasn't any improvement in sight. Crowds were super packed, people were shoving, it was hot, people were shoving, the bouncers were rude, I got groped at least 5 times when the nitrous cannon went off. Some people are sick. And what is up with that sketchy asian section at the back? Why does everyone have to get so fucked up like that? Its so sketchy, total buzzkill. Guv, Guv, when will you learn to run how to run a proper party. |

| Originally posted by Spin Laden I see the Guv is illegally screwin ppl, but they keep coming back for more. Is it the pilz? Changing the cover, overpacking the club, etc. They paying off the cops too? That's too bad because it's a good club otherwise with some solid bookings. I've had bad experiences because of this type of management, and that's unfortunate as I end up going to Montreal instead of Toronto more often because of this. |
well, first time out in a long time and other then getting acosted by some young lady whom I'd obviously given the wrong impression to I'd say I had a great time (well, getting acosted was fun too for that split second before the whole morality thing came into play). I spent much of my night in the Guv but after getting kicked out and having to negotiate my way back in I was religated to Kool Haus for the rest of the evening. This bothered me at first as I haven't enjoyed trance in a long time, however, thanks to the TAs in the Kool Haus (especially Magda, you kick ass) and Piet laying down a killer set I had a really great time.
Hey guys I got a question, does E effect girls differently than guys? Like one of my female friends popped three pills at Ultra Spin and felt nothing and it's like her 3rd time doing it, while another guy I know popped one and got high for a while and he has been popping for a while too. Same pills. I just find it weird :S
