...there are 6 teams left i would rather see win the cup than dallas. sjs got pwned like my avs.
ill take that as you want the habs to win if the rangers lose.
major brownie points.
what are annaheim up to?
surprisingly eliminated in the first round by dallas. It was quite a shock to me i thought they would make the conference finals at least.

well they certainly have the momentum and the advantage in nets with turco. Detroit just has too much firepower up front and some big men in back to be written easily. It wlould be one hell of a series probably evening up east vs west finalists with the beating they would give each other.
let's not forget against nashville, detroit looked like they could be beat. dallas is a great team and really always has been. i think the west might turn out to be pretty damn interesting this year. the nyr i actually feel for a bit because yesterday they legitimately had that goal to tie the game but perhaps such an instance shows what the rest of the series will be like. pens in 5 is my guess.
also, not sure how the sharks are going to dig deep to win in dallas but if they don't they are out...montreal has to pull off one win in philly too because they've shown they can be manhandled. philly was ranked low going into the playoffs but lets not forget they were dominating the east back in february...don't underestimate them. plus briere got buffalo to the finals last year and don't think he won't do it again.
when was montreal manhandled? they got poor goaltending from price and biron stole philly a game. they dominated the flyers in every stat but the one that counts. this is the beauty of the playoff you dont need to play well if you have someone standing on their head between the pipes.
im confident
best road team in the nhl = montreal
all time playoff record vs philly
5 - 7 at home
9 and 1 away.
if carey doesnt disapear we should easily dispose of the flyers in 6.
manhandled was a bit much i guess
. your goalie is young though BUT if you go back to 1986 a canadiens rookie goalie did pretty well for himself
that is the story line this year...the city is already comparing him to ken dryden and roy and are slotting him to become the 3rd rookie to bring them to the cup. He had a shit game the last one, but its gonna happen. They call him jesus price but hes still just a kid. The problem with the last game was that 3 out of the 4 goals were routine saves blundered. He will bounce back, i'm not worried. The second season is a long one and i was not by any means expecting a sweep. Last time he had a bad game the next one he got a shutout. Maybe he will hit 3 tomorrow.
just the fact that he can handle the pressure put on him at 20 is remarkable. He is so calm its almost scary.
^^^i don't think anyone should be compared roy but if he can pull it off that'll be great. i'll pay more attention to your series because i love watching good goalies...

Turco is no joke. We just look tired. Im used to the sharks burning out. They looked so fresh against calgary and just took a dump after those two days off.
brutal ending to the first period of phi vs mtl, this doesn't give you half the details of what happened but

that mini comeback just surprised the shit out of me...price ain't no patrick roy or jose theadore
ottawa needs to be sold to manitoba..... they are physically too close to montreal and their shittyness has rubbed off on my habs. Cant blame it all on price, but i can blame it on the rest of the team skating like old men.......
