well the problem in open area situations is how to pump out enough bass. either way the coliseum probably wasnt built for raves anyways. last year i was more than halfway back, sounded fine to me, but i wasn't expecting anything great either.

The Insomniac offices are buzzing around the clock as we gear up for this year's Electric Daisy Carnival! June 28th is less than two weeks away now and we're all working like crazy to make sure this year's event is one for the record books. Here's a little taste of things we have in store:

* A massive fireworks display over the coliseum
* Hundreds of clowns and other circus performers, including on-stage shows between sets
* Flower City
* Pyrotechnics and Cryogenics on 4 of the 6 stages
* Lucha libre in a massive wrestling ring
* + So much more!

yeah i was towards the front but on the left side, it was WAYYYYYYYYYY to crowded to get to the front center...

Lol.. working out just for mad dancing all day. Im going for the 12 hour experience since i really dont want to miss menno. It looks like hes gonna be playing early . I really just hope its not hot, or ill be sitting under a tree for 4 hours.

You have a point my friend. Last year I arrived right after 4 and it was pretty hot. I walked around for awhile and then strecth out in the football field area or Trance area. Unfortunately I laid in the sun for about 2 and half hrs... and boy, it drain me so bad!

I managed to recoup, but I dont want to da that again. I shooting for maybe a 5 pm arrival and like you said chill in the shade for awhile.
