I think they check you, i remember being checked when going into mccarren pool once but im not sure if that was avb.

40 - 50 now but it jumps up to 60 / 70 later on in the day.

also, the question is why would they suddenly not search your purse? with the exception of there not being a roof they will treat this like any other event which means they will check your bags and your person.


edit - 60 - 70% in manhattan not brooklyn sorry i was mistaken. brooklyn actually looks like it'll be "nicer" weather wise than manhattan

at most made events that are outside, they make you throw away any containers with liquids before you enter
