hehe you are crazy, I see interracial couples all over the place in NYC, and we cant forget that this includes more than just black and white. I have surprisingly seen a lot of black women dating white men recently.....interesting turn of events considering we are used to seeing it the other way around


Also, Since when it Manhattan mostly white? First thing, Harlem IS Manhattan, so that doesnt make much sense?....... and there is Washington Heights, Inwood, Hamilton Heights, Morningside Heights, Upper East Side, Chinatown, Lower east side, Clinton aka Hell's Kitchen, which are all very mixed with black, spanish, asian, brown peeps, white peeps, jewish, etc.....I live in the Upper West Side of Manhattan and its very mixed, so I am not sure why you think otherwise.

And yes, Georgia is still littered with blatant racism. Giving a family that has had southern, bible thumping, librul-hatin' offspring for generations a mixed child is quite a big deal.

hehe no worries, you arent TOTALLY off, there are certainly segregated neighborhoods as in most cities (usually based on class, really) but i see NYC as a very mixed city with lots of "intermingling" if you will.....



My man is Puerto Rican from the Bronx, so you can just guess how nervous I was to tell my folks that......esh. FUN times.

Does anyone outside of the US actually care about interracial relationships? I honestly don't think anyone gives a shit over here.

Interesting enough, there are plenty of "reports" on the racism between Aboriginals and your typical Australians. Are these reports false?






Also, I dont know if interracial relationships is a problem everywhere. It seems to be more of a problem in middle America and rural areas, as opposed to the coasts, large cities and the north, which typically are more accepting (of course there are always exceptions to the rule in each place).

Love em, and am in an interracial marriage.

My father didn't like it but I frankly never gave two shits about what he thought, and then..... my mom divorced him an married a black man so I guess the joke was on him hehe

Personally, I am against interracial mating.
