Sasha will be back solo October 28th as part of our 15 year anniversary month long celebration!!!
These guys completely destroyed that place last night. This set was way better than either one of them solo as well...together the chemistry was just perfect. I expected to hear them play six hours of tech house but they went deep into a lot of progressive stuff for a few hours and built the night so perfect. I have seen them both numerous times solo and never have i seen sasha jump up and down like he did at 5am going crazy. The show was everything i could have hoped for. Good to meet some of the TA'S down there as well.

I think I may have enjoyed Kazell's set more.
S&D were still fun, but I was exhausted after five and a half hours (~3:30am) and left early. Dreamz was a near-perfect venue for this event -- vastly better than Opera for these shows -- though it did get uncomfortably hot and smokey as it got later. I wish I had the endurance for 6:00am this morning, now hearing how insane it was 4-6.
that was insane.
sasha and digweed laid down such ferocious beatz! uuugghhhhhhhhhhh!

My head is still spinning from last night, fuck that was UNREAL. Does anyone think that this set will have been recorded? I know prob not, but man, it would be amazing to have that set.
Just popped in my mind that Digweed played no sonar by Dave Robertson. I couldnt think of the name of that track last night for nothing....epic tune.

Its 9 pm and I'm still recovering... I'm not gonna lie, Sasha & Digweed laid Dreams to waste last night. I'm seriously impressed that they played 5+ hours, was honestly expecting them to be done at 3-4. They made big room work, my expectations were exceeded.
That extra sound was ridiculous, my head is still throbbing... it sounded so good in Dreams and it never felt cramped. I would really love to see more stuff of this calibur there. Was fun hanging out with everyone

From what I can tell (via forums, lolinternet), the consensus on the show was it was pretty bad to meh. I dunno, I fucking loved their set, maybe it's all just a big case of "sounds better in a club", but I don't care.
Yeah, I don't really understand it. I thought the set was outstanding, but it seems to be an either love it or hate it sort of thing with this one. Most of the tracks were big room rapists which I usually only like in moderation and this was all out hatred on decks for three hours, but I thought it was really, reaaaaalllllly fun. Maybe not the best programming ever, but it was a superb all out boshfest.

I'll give you that there is not a track called Le Voyage (Part 2), but as you can see from this tracklisting from Discogs, it has been mislabeled on two different comps done by Fleming in 2003.

The track is Tour de Trance. Mislabeled on tracklistings, you can see where I was thrown off. I hope that helps.

| Originally posted by TheBird I'm afraid I'm right. There IS a track called Le Voyage (Part 2) and it appeared on two different comps mixed by Fleming in 2003. That IS the track. Funny how you don't know what it is, but you are quick to say what it isn't. Check out this tracklisting compliments of Discogs if you don't believe me. And quite frankly, I don't care if you do. http://www.discogs.com/Various-Whit.../release/180844 |
