let's have a recap so far, what definites do we have, cos we got 6 weeks to sort this out now, lets get goin 
thinking about it like that ian 6 weeks is not a lot of time, so we need to get stuff finalised, even promise gets stuff sorted out perfectly a month in advance, albeit they do seem to change a bit inbetween... *thinks of the gielen + signum nite* lol
i think we should wait for neo to give us a deffinate "Yes or No" with the club first, coz there is no use us running around getting flyers printed and all that if we cant have it, i shouldnt imagine it'd be too long before they get back to us so until then, just sit tight, they'rd prolly get back to us first week or so of January, when all the work starts to get back to normality.
I was wondering... do you reckon it will be beneficial for us to try and get some publicity on local radio?
well ive already spoke to someone at the student newspaper and they seamed ok, there are a few local radio stations, aire fm, galaxy (yuck) are the 2 main ones we cud easily drop them a email or 50

I think tbh we gotta look at a crowd thats probably 70% students and not so much the 'clubbers' for now, we gotta view them as numbers, cos if we bugger up the first one, there won't be any more for the clubbers to come to, so lets put up with them for this time
Been from leeds i dnt really think that Heaven and Hell is a good venue to be honest and id be very suprised if you would get it on a saturday as the Glasshouse is a well established afterhours club which operates after the cheese finishes.
I dntr know what you have decided cause i cnt be fked reading 10 pages of thread but i would really love to help in the organistion and of course would be willing to invest a small amount, and even DJ if there are places.
Personally i suggest the Basement as the club. Nice venue, decent sound system not to expensive. Its home to Mixmags 32nd club in the country HWC.
Anyways.

but as you've chosen to have the night on valentines day you should be aware that most people will be out therefore either with their partners, or looking for partners!..what i'm saying is are you prepared to make this night a themed night? because if you don't the competition from elsewhere in leeds will definatly take away your numbers.
I think to be honest, its a bit late to have the night in on the 14th of Feb.
For your first even you need at lease 1 month to promote everything once its sorted. This is usually the time people need to become familiar with flyers and everything and build up hype.
Also i think you will struggle if yopu dont have any name DJ's that locals can related to. Maybe someone like Guffy or GRH who are both excellent.

Well in that case, seems like a wicked night, have you got it before the glass house like 9-2 or is it with the glass house. Would be wicked to have some real trance at the glass house.

i live in Leeds personally i think SPace is the perfect venue, they have Base there on a wednesday so they know there hard-trance, another trance night wudnt kill them, recently refurbished, good sound system decent crowd, located in a busy part of Leeds! ask the radio stations todo a broadcast maybe, have the TA dj's dj'ing there different styles as there is 2 rooms. anymore info just gimme a buzz
