I think he faked it as well. Just that he is prolly back in Bahrain or some other rich Islamic country where its ok to have a harem of lil boy sex slaves.

So, you think that someone whom, for his entire life, was under serious public scrutiny, under a huge magnifying glass at all times, would be foolish enough to do something like molesting a child?

And you don't think that there are corrupt people out there who would take advantage of a convenient situation with a ridiculously rich person in hopes of cashing in?

You don't think that children can be coerced into believing something really happened if told enough times?

I am not saying that there isn't a possibility that he did it, but at the same time, I wouldn't be even mildly surprised to find out that it was a bunch of bullshit to scam some money.

Since we're on that...

+1 on all of this except on the first paragraph. There are tons of major celebrities that have been foolish enough to pull off shit like that. Michael's problem goes waaaaaaaay back to his fucked up childhood and its subsequent effect later on in life, specially since he was the world's biggest superstar.

Yea wasnt there some famous british rocker that got caught in vietnam for having sex with a bunch of little girls... and another famous british person who had CP and claimed he was "doing research because he had been molested" or something like that?

Are you saying they shouldn't? Put your opinions of his personal life aside for a second. The courts found him not guilty. You and I will never know what truly happened.

Now, do I think MTV should have a day to honor his musical legacy? No, I don't. They should honor him for a week. They should honor him for a month. Michael Jackson was MTV's first global star. He was their biggest star to date. He brought international fans to the forefront by the millions. He inspired countless artists. And for that, MTV and music alike are forever indebted to him.

Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. Sorry, but I'm right about this one.

in memory of MJ I've been listening to children's nursery rhymes all day.

I couldn't agree more. People need to realize that we don't know what, if anything happened with those children. For all we know those parents could have coached those kids. Not that they did or didn't, but as you said, we will never know what truly happened.

I said this to a friend last night. She said that she doesn't really care about MJs death. I fired back about his influence on music of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
