A&B will be back in the states for Electric Zoo in NYC Labor Day weekend. The smart thing for Gryphon to do is book A&B again for that weekend or around that time when they're already here, along with Schulz & Emery who are also playing EZ ...

considering it wasnt gryphon that was responsible for booking them but insomniac or whatever the group is called, i highly doubt a repeat performance is in the works.

but maybe you guys will get lucky.

Yeah not sure how much Gryphon had to do with it, time will tell. But considering it was packed to the rafters someone should bring them back, along with more trance. Trance still sells like water in the desert here, as long as they bring the DJs people want to see

I was @ Space for Funkagenda last week (who was good BTW). Even with its built-in established crowd, plus the fact Space was the only place playing house (i.e. urban/black/hip-hop memorial takeover), and it was a non-rotation guest DJ playing, the Space terrace @ 2:30 a.m. still was nowhere near as full as Gryphon was the night of A&B. Only when afterhours got near did the terrace start to fill up ...

That Terrace never fills up until later in the morning. We had a lot of the Space people up at Gryphon, for Chris Lake until like 4ish and then a lot of them headed to Space. Man Funkagenda throws down a great set everytime, the dude can play and he's a cool fucking guy, one of my buddies in the industry. We have him back on Sept 5th at Gryphon.

FYI I heard some news, can't release it until its 100% confirmed but the TA fans should be happy about this booking. I definitely have never seen this guy down here at all.

I agree about Funkagenda, good DJ who plays fun sets. But because he is good, a guest DJ & played early you would expect a bigger crowd @ Space earlier than on a normal week. Especially when no one else was even playing house music in Miami that night, as this city was taken over by the urban hip-hop crowd. A&B on the other hand had to compete with everyone, and was still packed all night in a venue located far away from many who attended. Trance sells, period

As for the trance booking you heard about : just say who, when & where. If it's good trance TAS and many other peeps will show up ...

Marco V. tickets will be on sale around the 2nd week of July. I'll post the info when I get it.

As soon as they tell me I can leak it, I will! It shouldn't be long, hopefully everything will be situated next week at some point. Its not so much a trance booking but I know a lot of the trance kids like the guy, so I'm assuming you will be happy.

Adam definitely does play fun sets and keeps them very different all the time, never hear the same set or close to same set twice from him. That weekend is tough a lot of the EDM crowd migrates to Vegas and Detroit that weekend, that could be another reason for the slow night in there. I know I got hit personally by everyone fleeing town. I would say about 85% of my guests were out of town. Chris Lake played Gryphon that Saturday and it was actually slammed so we could of taken some business from Space
