Curious: whats the best way to get to San Bernardino from LAX? Dunno if I'll be convincing any friends to come along

You can take the Metrolink. The trains won't be running when the fest ends, though, so you'd need a hotel out there.

So...uh..what happened to Sean Tyas? He confirmed on his facebook before but still not showing on Beyond Wonderland's lineup for trance. His website says march 19th To be confirmed / Los angeles

fly to ONT (ontario airport) instead of LAX

much much much closer.

I was going to say that too but...the tickets might be more expensive

Posted by Nerologic on Feb-05-2011 01:51:

Get a rental, rentals are super CHEAP at LAX. Like 25 bucks a day IF that. 50 bucks is way worth it then dealing with other kind of crap.

Sad, he did a good job at LMD's 10th year anniversary. Really brought the trance energy, like steroids.

And for the jackass at Insomniac who unscheduled Sean Tyas, kiss the A$$. Probably listens to minimal techno. If you don't know how it sounds, it sounds like this Z.......ZZZZZZZZZZZ....zZZZZZZZZZZZ

FYI, Sean Tyas just got featured artist for US Trance movement. good going Einsteins.

His booking went poooooooof no idea why tho @_@ he posted on facebook that he was bummed and really looking forward to playing this show

Posted by sweetcandy girl on Feb-05-2011 04:40:

Sean couldn't really get into why he is not playing at Beyond when I talked to him last. He is super bummed about it all.

I think part of it is that his second daughter is due march 30th...

Posted by system-7 on Feb-05-2011 07:53:

facebook says he assumes maybe he hasn't paid his dues yet? That is open to obvious interpretation.

Posted by GPC on Feb-05-2011 19:06:

Was really looking forward to Tyas

And I'm with Jim on flying into ONT. WAY closer than LAX. There is also a San Bernardino International Airport like 1 mile away from the event but I have no idea who, if anyone, flys into there.

You Socalers dont realize how good ya got out it there cos got crews like Insomniac putting on insane events like this. I'm seriously considering flying out for this show if I can find a cheap flight, worth it for me just to see my man Chris Lawrence slay the crowd. Man, this looks epic.

Is the trance lineup complete? Dash Berlin is playing in Anaheim the night before! I wonder...

No Dash! Already have cosmic/moor for the bleh vocals. Plus don't need someone to take away time from Simons set. ALSO, it would be awesome if Simon closed like how he did at EDC. He's perfect for closing or just having him at night!

I'm glad the city isn't going with an abstinence-only approach. That kind of nonsense never works.

It was a hard decision to skip Digweed but I'm in for Beyond Wonderland.

I figured I just saw Digweed for NYE and I actually have not seen most of the artists playing BW except for Cosmic Gate, Judge Jules, Simon Patterson and Dirtyphonics. For me, that's part of the appeal of events like these. I get a chance to see a variety of DJs that I normally would not go out to see by themselves and hear some new music.

Looking forward to hearing Christopher Lawrence, Andy Moor, Richie Hawtin and the rest of the line up.

as enticing as Cosmic Gate and Simon Patterson are, I definitely am waiting to hear some big house names or something to round out this group. Otherwise I really don't feel like making the drive out to san bernardino to see just 2-3 acts that I could catch at Circus or another event.

Only private charter jets.

Just got my ticket! Stoked for the event, I was here for the last event Nocturnal, and what a great turnout with an awesome lineup. I don't expect anything else from beyond wonderland. I've seen everyone from the trance lineup with the exception of Cosmic Gate. If they drop exploration of space I will
