so harper does nothing much in the election campaign and wins majority. i find this ironic
way to go moron canada

Now you are all stuck waiting 4 years for another election. I guess the people that dislike Harper can just move to Europe or the States with Iggy.

IGGY!!! Don't let the damn door hit you on the way out!
this is the canada you voted for. good job everyone. enjoy.

I didnt like iggy either.
I mean we were really jacked from the get go. this country is gonna get worse.
though NDP dominated Toronto...
Disappointing to say the least - but I think it's for the best.
Ignatieff could not sell himself, and could not overcome the massive character assassination done over the past year or so by the Conservatives. (Still don't think he's a bad guy by any means.)
Canadians will really get to see Harper's true colors now, though! Last time Conservatives won a majority they introduced a new tax (how's that for Irony?). Now we can watch helplessly as billions are shovelled into unnecessary military purchases and the prison expansion agenda.
What happened in Quebec is interesting though - talk about a new day up there! I think this is a good thing as it appears to show that the Sovereignty debate has run its course for now.
Hopefully Layton's NDPs and whatever rises from the ashes of the Liberal party will keep a watchful and voiceful presence as the inevitable Conservative abuses rear themselves, so that after this necessary 4-year penance they can be kicked to the curb in the same fashion as the Federal PCs. (or maybe that is just wishful thinking...)

I am pleased with the end result.
that is all
It is now official... Iggy lost his riding.
The block lost 47 seats to the NDP and 1 to the Conservatives. Didn't gain any. The Liberals lost the majority of their seats to the NDP, but took 1 seat from the NDP. The Conservatives took most of the seats from the Liberals, but 1 seat was taken from the Green party.
One thing congrats May

as much as I despise Green Party policies, I'm glad that May won. the House of Commons needs a fresh voice

4 yrs of bs, here we come
Welcome to a world run by corporations. If you thought your phone bill was bad, wait until you get your hospital bill..
Remember the 151-seat Conservative Mulroney majority?
Just wait until we see them start force-feeding bullshit in contrast to a shadow cabinet that will not stand for it.
Just wait.
Separatism is not dead. Lol.
It's only gonna get stronger with this majority conservative govt.
Don't forget the referendum is run at the provincial level, nothing the bloc could do about anways.
Keep telling yourself that Malek.

So I see many people want to flee to Europe now. Wankers, they have as many problems as us.
