| Originally posted by Babak_S I think thats the expected reaction from the people, Clubbing at guvy is unique, because some will come for the drinks, some for the crowd, some for the drugs, and some for the music. All these things cost money (entrance minimum) and dont benefit the person in the same way that $20 could (groceries) and people dont put into persepective why they're going there. Its simple- always ask yourself if the entrance fee is worth the reason your going there, if its not, dont go. If it is, go. For example: If your complaint is that theres no good DJS and your going there for the reason of music, then you wouldnt go! Or if your complaint is that its always too crowded, but you know the DJ is good and your going there for the music, Then you should probably go. |

Personally IMO, people who complain, just dont know what they want, hence shouldnt come at all. |
No wonder they make you pay for both days. Day 2 is CRAP
There are plenty of multiday festivals that have a per-day price, or even a per-event price (ie: Mutek) that still do well, and have almost every event/day be packed with people.
I'm sure there are lots of people that would want to go on either the Sat or the Sun but not both, and will avoid the event all together because of that.
I guess the question is : Will the amount people who are willing to pay for both nights make up for those who are put-off by not being able to pick one or the other.
Too soon to say, but I have my doubts.....

Never mind the fact that most people have to answer the bell on Tuesday, so staying up late is a little more feasible on Saturday than Sunday.

| Originally posted by The Highroller Something that just occurred to me: Guv could be having this 2 ticket structure to force the younger party generation that will be going on Sunday night to check out the DJs on Saturday night. Maybe Guv is trying to stoke flames, or breathe some life into what I consider to be a stagnating scene in this city. |

please let Zebiela play on the second day, otherwise it will be way to staked on the first day, they need to divide the quality acts up more!
