i agree about the carbs over mcdonalds. good call on the multivitamins too.
i make it a point to eat like two different fruits a day as well as an assortment of veggies all organic of course and i'm happy i'm not poor because i couldn't eat the way i eat. eating badly makes me feel like a sloth
So exactly how bad is eating after 10-11:00 PM at night? I've been balancing my diet more and going to the gym 4-5 a week, but I still have the habit of eating before bed but usually its just a yogurt or some fruit.

doesn't matter to my understanding

. Your metabolism doesn't slow when your asleep, but it does make it more difficult for your body to digest foods once your lying down in bed. This could result in stomach cramps and a general bloated feeling when you wake up the following morning.
My friend finally convinced me to try Crossfit workouts last week and I've been doing most of the WODs (Workout of the Day) when they're posted. Yesterday was a 15K run, which is about 9.32 miles. I absolutely hate running, but I have forced myself to run a lot this summer, in addition to swimming.
Anyway, I ended up running 8 miles on the track... so I was about 2k meters and change short of hitting the 15K. Either way I was really happy with my results because the last time I ran 8 miles was on the football team when I was in high school.
Anyone do the Crossfit workouts? Thoughts on it? I really like the combinations of the compound movements and endurance activities. I've been sort of trying to incorporate it with my normal workouts at the gym, but after some of the WODs I am almost completely drained.
Oh yeah, I achieved my goal of losing 20 lbs starting from the start of summer. I still feel like the same fatass so I'm still making an effort to lose more weight... down about 25 lbs now.

Everyone should ride a fuckin bike that way they won't be fat and midget !!

Protein will be used if needed, however in excess will turn to fat. This is hardly ever the case for most people unless your a body builder and bulking. Theres more to it than this simple comparison, but u cannot ignore macro's!! |
protein powder suggestions? vanilla flavor please. i threw away the old powder i had because it expired and i want to get something that will actually taste good
I really like Whey Gourmet, except I've only ever had chocolate. But it truly does have awesome flavor.
Running has taken a serious toll on my already bad knee seeing a doctor soon I really hope I won't need surgery

Peanut butter (a teaspoon or so) + banana is always a good addition.

Dymatize Elite Whey chocolate flavor is soooo good. For 0 carb powders, Isopure is the best bet.

Ok so I'm back after sometime off w00t. Going in to my cutting regamine a very strick one I may add started this week and its already hard ;p but with all hard work it will show the results in the end. So pretty much a little rundown of it : working out (lifting) Tues Thurs Sat, following it up with high intensity cario Mon Wed Fri with Sunday as a day to recover
As far as diet taking a major cut on caloric intake and worst of all none, zero, ,zelch absolutley NO! carbs after 6pm
this will be tough as I love beer so ya looks like im gonna be drinking bacardi superior
I'll def come on here with some updates as I progress. My time off came with some minimal damage gained some weight lost some strength my cardio is still up to par same with my overall endurance. I'm totally pumped about getting into this as my body is in a perfect position to get cutt up! Lifted chest yesterday and eek I'm sore as a bitch but I love and missed that feeling. Did my running this morning first thing before breakfast don't really notice a difference in how my body is taking the whole no carbs thing other then im craving a cracker or bread like a mofo right now lol
