That mixer seems hot too. The same one was used by Tiesto during TiestoSolo 02-02-2002. I remember it was very expensive back then.

Quite basic to you guys, but my pride and joy for me. I'm still in the UK (photo was taken from MRS'es bedroom. But in 2 weeks im comin back home (Down-Under) with my fionce, Were we both plan to start our new life. Pic's of the setup after the big move will be posted again as i have BIG plans to make our little room downstairs, look like a mini nightclub.

Seriously though....this mixer was used when I bought it, so I got a great deal on it. By who you ask? Supposedly this was the mixer that was used @ Ultra 4 in the main stage. They replaced the rotaries and put the faders back in . But can't comfirm it though. But that's what the STanton rep said so...

congrats on the mixer, who needs a car when you can have something like that instead?!

2 cdj 1000`s
2 cdj 800`s
2 technics mk5`s
1 pioneer djm 600
2 pioneer efx 500`s
And my pioneer headphones


And currently sitting near all that very neatly tucked in boxes are my un-used stanton vrm-10 mixer and 2 more technics mk2`s.....

jesus man, how many arms to you have? 4 decks, 4 cd decks, 2 fx units, and a mixer with fx too, man, i bet you could make a pretty fantastic trainwreck with all that.

Most likely a duo, no single DJ needs that much stuff.

Right, 2 x 4's are awesome to listen to, or he could be doing lots of samples, and lots of 3-4 deck mixing. Liebing does 3 decks + ableton live + Air-FX etc...

lol i dont use them all (well....most of them)but its just me using them , no duo! Its all been bought over time. I only use the 2 cdj 1000s, with the 2 efx units for each deck, and the 2 technics mk5s and the djm 600. The other 2 cdj 800s are above the 1000s on purpose made stands for the very odd time i want to put in acapellas or samples or simply cue up more than one track at a time.

I dont use the 2 mk2 technics or the stanton vrm10 mixer...but the vrm 10 is to sexy to sell lol. Hopefully ill be able to get sum pics up within a few days when i get my camera

I hear you on not selling the VRM-10 mixer. Somebody once asked me if I could ever sell mine and I really don't think I can. I had a Rane Rotary once and I sold it cause I knew I could always buy another. If I sold the VRM I don't think I would be able to buy another or spend the money.

I am surprised that you don't use that VRM-10. When I record a mix out of the VRM it is cleaner, punchier, and warmer than any other mix I have heard including the one's store bought. I would suggest that you at least use it for that purpose. Sure it's sexy but it's a state of the art piece of equipment. The DJM cannot compare to the quality of sound.

How on earth can you have a vrm10 and not even use it?

I actually was thinking about that the other day tamtui, im def gonna use it more than i have been maybe swap them around when recording mixes or wotever....

use it! that mixer is BUTTER

liebing plays tracks that all have the same bpms...

its not the same thing

he doesnt have to cue at all

the VRM is super warm i'm surprised your not using it over a djm600 which has less than perfect sound quality.
