I reckon those are the usual Technics 1210 MK2 Turntables

But you're right...it looks an awful lot like an Ikea table.

Posted by Vlad on Jun-12-2005 21:59:

All cool tables that have some kind of ergonomic design have got to be from Ikea.

Posted by j@y on Jun-12-2005 22:09:

my table was bought at ikea too

its the perfect size to fit 2 turntables an a mixer

it almost look like if it was done for dj's!!

perfect height

Posted by cryo on Jun-12-2005 22:21:

yea i think a lot of us use ikea tables... hey they work well

small picture of my setup about a month ago...

Posted by tvmann on Jun-12-2005 22:30:

j@y - how do you like that B-52 Matrix speaker system? Do they sound good with enough bass at lower volumes when you're practicing in your house?

I just got some unpowered PA speakers, 15" woofer in them, not entirely satisfied with the sound quality especially at low volume. I might sell them and get The B-52. Or maybe Mackie 450 if I can find some used.

Posted by j@y on Jun-12-2005 23:08:

for the price its really the best deal i think you can ever get

they do have a little lack of bass at lower volume

but thats only compared to the really hi bass you get when you crank the sound up

even if the bass is not top notch at lower volume it is still better than anything else ive tried

i had mackie monitors and they dont even compare

i just like the fact that you never overload them

its a great deal

Not necessarily, maybe peoples just didnt pay attention to the post, but trust me, youre not the first person to bring it up - its been part of this thread since the beginning.

I have a perfect table which I don't know where I've got. Fits my 2 techcs and 2 CDJ500S's perfectly, but soon I'll be getting my third deck and then I'll have serious issues finding a table big enough for my equip.

I've finally got a digicam, so at last I can post here!
Had this set up for about a year, mixer for 6 months

Gear:
2x Numark 1650 Turntables
2x Ortofon Concorde Pro Silver
Vestax PCV-275 mixer
Sony MDR-V6 Headphones (aka 7506)
Some old school stereo that can blow away the majority of stereos today.

Thats a custom built booth, was surprised how well it turned out, just about every measurement fitted exactly. Took me about 3 weeks to build so it better have bloody fitted! And as you can see on the last photo all the cables drop inside, makes it look really clean on top.
Feel free to PM or ask me any questions if you are looking to do something similar.

Nice Vintage look, I have some old 1975 pioneer speakers that look somewhat like that aswell

Some pics from my updated gear:

This is actually a temporarily set-up using a cabinet from Trendhopper (L=201cm, W=43cm, H=85cm).
My original booth is too small to fit both (new) pio's on as I'm still waiting for my cdj-stand to arrive where I can put them on.

Found poster via google and printed out on a high resolution xerox color printer after stretching it to A3 size.

Cabinet is from "Trendhopper" (as mentioned in original post ) this is a Dutch furniture store.
