It's a documentary about crime (specifically kidnapping and the SUDAM scanal) in Brazil.

I did enjoy this documentary however it should have mentioned some of the other well known facts as to why crime is escalating within Brazil as a result of top political corruption.

The documentary does sum up well the challenges the Brazilian judicial system faces with prosecuting politians. However it is difficult to see how the issues presented within this film could be eradicated without a complete unobstructed reform to most of Brazil's systems of government, not limited to the administration of justice.

I was however surprised the film maker choose SUDAM as it's a relatively small scale political scandal compared to many others past, and present which are currently circulating amongst the Brazilian judicial system.

my rating, 4 out of 5 stars.

Corpocracy is another documentary I recently watched which was very good and would highly recomend. =D

Hmmm. I knew nothing before about politics and crime in Brazil, so that's very interesting.

Thanks for the other recommendation.

This is a good website for those who watch documentaries often and had no T.V like myself...

I can't wait to hang out at home tonight. Weather is blah and have lots to do tomorrow....I am digging the 8+ hours of sleep I have been getting every night this week!

^^^
Love the regular sleeping patterns. Just can't stand the wake up for work. Nor does this mean work is a chore. It's just having to bother getting up and putting up with the rush hour traffic more than anything else.

PS yes, staying in tonight. Big one tomorrow though...

It's that time again, and yeah I'm in. Listening to PVD @ Ultra Music Festival '09. I'd post that in the "What Are You Listening to" thread but I totally can't find it in TOTA anywhere.

Anyway

Holla holla Red Bull fo a dolla.

Now I'm listening to Paul Van Dyk - Live @ Club Of Colors Hungary 11-08-1999.

Unbelievable old school set.

Is your set the one with Binary Finary - 1998 (PvD remix) in it too?

I'm around, just not as much...

I got GI Joe. Awesome DVD Quality. I didn't like it though. Hopefully you will though. The action IS good but I don't like how they changed a lot of things. Still need to see Transformers 2.

Oh beer.....I'd kill for some right now.....

I'm playing PS Home and am in the SingStar Room dancing while listening to an old PVD set on my laptop. It would be a lot better if I was drunk lol. I've done it before. Right after this set is done I'm gonna play Metal Gear Solid 4 on The Boss Extreme hard.

Staying in every now and again isn't so bad....but I'm used to it now, not by choice tho....

They were both ripped at 1.3gb vs the usual 700mb, so they should be good.
