Posted by djdk on Jul-22-2007 01:31:

Its too late and im too pissed to read the whole thread, but if no-ones mentioned it already, Hybrid - If I Survive, dark and moody, yet somehow always leaves me with a smile.

Jan Johnston - Flesh(does "heaven's forbidden, but I'm going soon" mean she's going to kill herself?)
Slyder - Neo(The One)(from GTA III's RISE FM)

DASH BERLIN - TILL THE SKY FALLS DOWN!!

Some depressing non-vocal trance too

Many Ayla songs, although most are not vocal, are depressing too, for example, Atlantis(vocal), Ayla(the original, one of the saddest trance tunes) Vegas, Sunday(the melancholy antecedent to Into The Light), Celine, and Sun Is Coming Out(also vocal)
Chicane - Autumn Tactics(not a song to listen to when you've just broken up and it's the end of summer, as with my brother)
Ian Van Dahl - Where Are You Know(that's what I'm asking about the former producers)
Watergate - Chi Mai(non-vocal)
Amen - Save Me(Trouser Enthusiasts mix)
Peach - Sorrowtown(Trouser Enthusiasts mix)
Tomski - 14 Hours To Save The EartH
Silvertear - So Deep(the Perfect Sphere Mix featured in DDR sounds like the aforementioned Ayla song Sunday)
DHT - Depressed(the title says it all)
Tiesto - Theme From Norefjell(especially the nothing-like-the-original Jan & Christophe remix)
Newton - Sky High(depressing vocal DANCE, not necessarily trance)

Above & Beyond- Alone Tonight
Evanesence- Hello (Trifactor vs. Gabriel & Dresden Remix)
Plummet- Damaged (Antillias Remix)
Oceanlab- Satillite (Above & Beyond Remix)
Solex- Close to the Edge

Posted by adi_hanson on Sep-27-2008 19:38:

although abit sceptical about vocal trance here goes
Above & beyond - no one on earth (gabriel&dresden mix)
Armin van burren - shivers (although catchy , i still think i could out produce armin on breakdowns in this one)
Human movement ft sophie moleta- love has come again (one of my fav vocal tracks)
Freefall - Skydive
4strings- Diving
Lange ft the morrighan - follow me
Moby - why does my heart feel so bad (ferry corsten remix) (again a very rushed sounding production)
4strings -turn it around
Warrior - warrior (vocal ish)
Signum feat. Scott Mac -Coming On Strong
Paul Van Dyk feat. Vega 4 Time Of Our Lives

Posted by wolftickets on Sep-28-2008 03:06:

Aria - Dido
Delerium - Angelicus
Aria Project - Tears of an angel(not the same as the above artist, although it also has opera vocals)

aren't they all depressing nowadays ???

Trying to rekindle this badass thread and keep it going...

Dash Berlin - Man on the run(new track, sure to be one of top 5 of 2009)

Thrillseekers - Dreaming of you(dj prada g remix), this remix is hard to come by but completely blows away the original and anyother mix of it i've come across... rest assured, get it, listen to it, and tell me it doesn't rock your couch

Mandalay - Beautiful(dj prada g remix), no description needed once you hear it...

2. Above & Beyond - No one on earth (when I really feel alone)
3. Oceanlab - Sattelite (when someone you love is actually half the world away)
4. Oceanlab - Sky falls down (when you are hoping that one day you will be again with your special someone)
5. Above & Beyond - Home (original version) - makes you think about your place in the universe

The Horrorist - One Night in NYC - It's about free-will, the lack thereof, experimentation, and the end of things.
