Well, this isn't really a table of contents, but here is a brief overview of the multitude of contradictions that our friends A&M have presented to us (just to put things in perspective - note that these ARE in fact in chronological order and not taken out of context!):

1. MECHA: "What happend to progressive music? seems like it is all trance and techno. We felt left out. Palazzio have 2 rooms so book other room for progressive/tribal/nu-school breaks." <<-->> "this is not about us spinning at PALAZIO. this is about progressive music....." <<-->> "I meant progressive scene during that palazio event NOT progressive events in general"

2. ARMADA: "apparently my opinion is not more valid that yours even though I've been a part of this community longer than you have" <<-->> "I did not display heirarchial or even a superior attitude"

3. ARMADA: "the onyl reason you got to spin @ TA Invasion was due to HighRoller" <<-->> "as far as you makin up bullshit where I doubted your DJ's skills or anythelse you posted in the last paragraph, seem like blatant bullshit..."

4. ARMADA: "what it really comes down to is track selection and production" <<-->> "what happens is it all comes down to connections you have"

5. MECHA: "but all the TA dj's got chance to spin just because they submitted they demo and John gave me a chance to play there. and yes some of them have good skills some of them do not." <<-->> "I did shown the respect to promoters and all djs that played there" <<-->> "what I said was that they were not in some sence good enough for my ear" <<-->> "I have no one to complain about"

6. ARMADA: "as far as most newbies are concerned, if I could give a fuck about them and what they think of me I would, but I don't" <<-->> "Here are some TA responds: [about his set, from several TA 'newbies']" <<-->> "progaddict.com reviews:"

actaully stp first ta meet up was tiesto inside of guv..thats when we all first met up some nyta's came up too like richie and redeye...i remember that night well cause i was mashed off my fuckin face and if u asked andy he'll say i was dancing around with my shirt off lol....

listen. matt and i were in a car w/ another TA. this TA informed us of what you said about matt. we trust this person. what more do you need to know? are you saying that you absolutely DID NOT say anything negative about vagrant's mixing at the fir5st TA invasion? b/c if you have any comments about matt's mixing you should say it directly to matt or post it on the board publicly. otherwise, it seems as if you are trying to ruin his reputation as a DJ. and i will also repeat, that matt never said anything bad about you.

cute story. does it really matter which meet up was huge? its fine if you don't want to come to meet ups but why did you call people losers for having a few friends from this site especially when you were meeting peeps back in 2001?

Maybe its just me, but I don't think people should expect things for helping others. Its something we should do out of the goodness of our hearts, and thats what seems to seperate the regular people out there, and the ones I call my friends.
I think you could go further with your dj career if you were more able to support positively, and not hate on other people following their dreams.

Art...I mentioned the first ta meetup that occured where there were LOTS OF US was in 2001...NOT the first one.

because its obvious that this place is ppl's only social life...and it seems pretty gay to me...i mean i can understand for some who come from out of town for school and dont know a whole lot of ppl...but come on some ppl like this is there life...even when i went to a few meetups in '01 i didnt go there to hangout with everyone i just came bvy shook everyones hand shot the shit for a few minutes and went back with my friends...i dunno just seems gay to me when ppls lives are based on a message board...and now ur gonna say well ur here alot too...true! i am and i do post alot, alot of worthless shit, but I dont get involved with drama i just poke my stick at ppl and watch em bark :P

But Matt did hear what was said about him as much as Tara did. But it doesn't matter, I'm sure that it was a mix up of some sort, there is no reason why you would want to put down other start-up DJs to some key people, is there?

Well, I can see how for some people this may be true but you can't generalize. Especially for the people involved in this thread. You can't really say any of that stuff about the people here because you truly don't know them or have talked to them outside of TA.

Dude, if it weren't for "message boards" or the net I wouldn't have the ability to meet such cool people and party it up with them. My regular friends outside of ta aren't into the music of the scene for that matter as much as I so it's fun to party with like minded people on what I love, trance. We socialize, meet people off here, party it up, some of us get along others don't, we are all different. What's wrong with just accepting our differences/faults/strengths and being supportive? This place is an online COMMUNITY, so let's act like one...(minus the bickering and BS).

Im pretty impartial, I dont know many of these people, but Mecha and Trancearmanda. the 'support' issue, it seems you do. props for that.

if you get booked, good on you, if somebody says they are going to book you, but dont...well too bad. Dont bitch about it in public, thats just not polite. ITs not good for you, the other Djs, the promoters, or anybody.

if there is one thing that matt can do well, it's smooth transitions. if you listen to him live or his mixes you will hear some very complex layering. many of our TA dj friends will concur w/ me when i say that he has a great deal of talent.

and you most definetly didnt meet me. I havent seen tiesto in toronto. I was here for Ferry/Seaman last year..and then came back for LOL and now I live here...nothing before then.
