.
does this album, have anything like suburban train or Obsession?
and don't give me the crap that tiesto didn't made those 2 allone. All i want is tunes like those 2 again, one of the reasons why trance is lacking every new year, because not one new tune has the emotion and feel like those 2.

After checking the samples out further (damned lack of funds), I can say that Heroes, Breda 8PM (DJ Montana Edit), Athena, and Coming Home will make regular appearances when I get them.
I will be looking forward for this release!
Tiesto was always an inspiration and he knows how to keep it top notch!

Damn I just saw this is also available on Nebula for about HALF the price of the 4x12" version!!
Oh well blue and white vinyls look cool.
Tiesto's productions suck compared to his other stuff...
He used the same sounds from so much of the music from In My Memory...
But I guess he was limited by the guys in the olympics, and also the time he had....
1 or 2 nice tracks....
This album takes a while to get used to...

excellent stuff, the man is a machine - just keeps releasing track after track in such a short space of time and there all pretty decent. just ordered the vinyls from juno

This album sucks. Just Be had some good tunes on it, especially 'Adagio For Strings' & 'Traffic'. But this new album is only for making money. There are only 2 or 3 trax that sounds OK for me, the rest is real crap. Especially Tiesto's version of Rollerball's Albinoni is so weak compared to the Above & Beyond workout on this track.
Tiesto should take a year without any release;; it would be better for 'em. Hate this Tiesto hype at the moment in every corner!!!
I bought a promo copy at my local record store tonight, and I'm guessing the promo is exactly the same as the official release, save for the "licensed for promotional use only" tag stamped on the cd. The liner notes have a few pictures of the opening ceremonies, a letter from Tiesto talking about his experience, and a description of each track. I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but Ancient History is a "free interpretation" of a song called "Zanaradikos" by Thrace. Tiesto said Montana made Breda 8PM as a birthday present. Also, Tiesto says Athena is his own interpretation of Albonini's "Adagio in G Minor" and it is one of his all-time favorite classical pieces and fit so well with the atmosphere in the stadium.
