Canada is not an official Catholic state and homeland in a way that Isreal is an official Jewish stare and homeland otherwise getting a citizenship in Canada would a be A LOT harder to get then it is now.Someone can not just go from Canada to Israel and get an Israeli citizenship just like that and it is much easier for an Israeli to come to Canada and get a citizenship because Canada is not an official Catholic state. You are trying to compare apples and potato chips.

It is very hard and damn near impossible for a Catholic or Orthadox person to immigrate to Israel and impossible for a Muslim or Arab person to do so period since they don't want any more coming in and hence you have the big controversy over the right of return in the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

Russian Mobsters and high end criminals who are Orthadox and can't get an Israeli citizenship get their buddies to say they are relatives and basically say they are Jewish and not Orthadox ior simply have an inside man to help them get the citizenship which is very hard to get for a Russian Orthadox person.

Israel is very attractive because if you are a citizen of Israel and you are wanted in another country then Israel won't hand one of their Israeli citizens over to another country to be persecuted. Also if you go to Israel then you can deposit as much money as you want into an Israeli bank with no questions asked much like Switzerland.

So Israel is not so easy to get a citizenship from otherwise every high end criminal in the world would be living there as we speak and if Canada were a Catholic version of Israel (as in a Catholic homeland and state) then it wouldn't be so easy for people to immigrate and refugee into this country.

So how the heck could Starsearcher be a citizen of Israel if he and his parents are not Jewish? What is his parents race wise and religion wise?

That is 100% false. First off, that old law was in place when the state of Israel was created, and it was the general consensus after the Holocaust that a Jew could not get a fair trial. Israel's new law (since '99) is that they will send you back to that country where you are accused for trial, but u will be returned to Israel to serve your sentence.

Also, Israel is one of the few countries that will prosecute their citizens for crimes commited in OTHER countries. As for your first point yes you have have have some Jewish lineage and be able to prove it to the Israeli Government in order to gain Israeli citizenship because it is a Jewish state. This fact would make the comparision of Canada's and Israel's immigration policy laughable and if Canada was like Israel and was a Catholic state with the same kind of rules as Israel then only people with Catholic Lineage would be able to gain citizenship unless you were Native and have been here for many centuries which would be the equivalent. If this was the case then any one who was fully Muslim, Jewish, Bhuddist, Hindu, Seikh ect. blood wise wouldn't be able to gain Canadian citizenship.

The second point is interesting and I guess Israel could have changed up their laws since so many high end members of orginized crime were using Israel as a safe haven for so many years.If this law has since been adjusted then so be it.

So we have established that the only way in which you can get Israeli citizenship would be to have some Jewish lineage and be able to prove it, be an Arab or Christian who survived all the bullshit and didn't refugee else where and has had your family living there for many many many man years which if someone was part of this group then they surely wouldn't have left or be able to fool the Israeli Government into thinking that you are Jewish and being able to prove it or make it happen one way or another which is very difficult so which one is it Startsearcher?

What does his parents background/religion have to do with anything. That is quite the personal question to ask someone on a forum.....I don't think that that has anything to do with anything....
